Undyne vs Gilgamesh (Fate Series)

Gilgamesh fell into the Underground. He sees all of these detestable monsters, and decides to kill them all to spare himself from their horrid, ugly looks. When he first arrived at Waterfall, the first monster he saw... was Undyne... a pissed Undyne.

Both will be in-character (So Gilgamesh will underestimate Undyne from the beginning).

Speed equalized. Fate/Stay Night Gilgamesh.

Who will win? The heroine of the Underground, or the King of Heroes?

I'm pretty sure that Undyne has a massive speed advantage so...

Gilgamesh does have a massive haxx advantage though, as well as resistance to soul manipulation, so Undyne won't be able to turn Gil green (maybe). Plus he does have AOE attacks as well.

The thing is though, if this will be speed equalized, then Gil would take this handily with haxx.

But if you don't equalize speed, there is literally nothing stopping Undyne from chucking a spear through Gil's head to end the fight.

Overall, still not the best matchup.

Alright, let's imagine this is speed equalize then. The only way I can see Undyne winning is if she finishes the battle quickly when Gilgamesh still thinks she's not a threat, or when she "dies" against Gil, she goes Undyne the Undying, catching him off guard for a second.

Speed equalized, we have more of a debate, considering the fact that Gil is locked in place (which might take him by surprise), followed by Undyne's multi-directional spear spam, upon which he counters with the Gate of Babylon until he gets bored or Undyne gets tired. This is assuming that Undyne's spears don't just attack Gil's soul, but he also has conceptual resistance, so there's that.

Undyne the Undying just stomps Gil without a doubt.

Isn't green mode Soul Manipulation? Since that's the case, then Gil would probably resist it:

"Amped stats and much higher resistance to Mind Manipulation and Soul Manipulation, resistance to Matter Manipulation, Time Manipulation and Probability Manipulation, possibly resistance to Spatial Manipulation."

But yeah, not allowing Undyne the Undying in this fight at all as well.

The stats you posted are from his Fate/Extra CCC incarnation, so they don't apply to this fight.
