Aren't they dipped straight from his cauldron though?

So.. How many forms of durability negatiom does madoka possess?

I feel like time travel is something Typhus would have trouble with. Does Typhus have a counter to time shenanigans?

Typhus will use his supernatural flies and toxic gases as well as his scythe to attack Madoka.

Typhus' stuff outside maybe manreaper isn't tier 1. Don't think it needs to be to **** her over though since it still was too much for Mortario and was waaaay better than the Life Eater virus made bt the Materium capable of cleansing planets and Nurglite daemons who can do similar stuff.

He can strip her of all her strength with a gesture, the hive is semi-passive. He can power null her soul magic, and time travel probably isn't gonna work when she has no way of knowing where or who he even is in the past and he'd be solar systems away.

Time travel arrows worked on literally every magical girl throughout history so not knowing who Typhus is in the past shouldn't be a problem.

That still isn't foolproof. Being an arrow, she still has to hit him first, and he can:

  • Just move out of the way
  • Just move behind cover
  • Cast Nurgle's Rot to both obscure his exact position and pressure Madoka
  • Infect her bow with a weapon virus, degrading it to nothing
  • Do his weird little hand motion and render Madoka unable to even move under her own power
  • Redirect the arrow with Plague Wind
  • Cast Miasma of Pestilence to obscure his location
Also, the Destroyer Hive is constantly belching out swarms of daemons that will kill Madoka if they can infect her. Combining that with everything above makes her lining up a good kill shot seem unlikely.

Madoka's arrows are homing though, they basically go out of their way to seek their target even if she's just firing randomly

Why would they seek out Typhus instead of the thousands of daemons he spawns constantly? How does that stop him from just throwing something into the arrow to tank it anyways, or from him doing bad things before she can even shoot it properly?

@Wok

It's a time travelling homing arrow that soul haxes him in the past.

Also she can recreate her bow and resists paralysis + power null

His soul was sorta claimed by Nurgle a really long time ago, though I can look into that. There's also the whole thing about how technically everyone's soul is mostly in the warp but

The strength draining thing isn't paralysis though, it's one of the Nurglite plagues he has where he just siphons all his opponent's strength straight to Nurgle.

Also, he's always been a psyker and even past Typhus had a rather powerful soul and good mastery over it. How good is the arrow's soulhax?

Just remembering now, with how important he was with the plans of the heresy, being the one to corrupt one of the primarchs and drive him to chaos, I'm not even sure interfering in his past would really be allowed by the forces at work there. Also, how far back do her arrows go? Typhus is really old.

It's "all the magical girls throughout history" level, which means "when humanity came out of caves" old

Time travelling arrows + purification will make short work of Typhus and white light of salvation can deal with the destroyer hive and any other bugs. The question is if Madoka can pull that off before he does any psyker shenanigans and if she can resist those. Right now I tentatively give the win to Madoka

Time-Travel isn't an issue for Typhus at all. One argument is there are uncountable infinities strands of fate for him to reach the point of becoming Nurgle's Herald. Disrupting a few of those isn't going to affect his future at all. Also he is a Daemon, Daemons in the Warp aren't affected by time. How powerful is the Death Manipulation? Because Typhus and his minions are literally composed of conceptual diseases. All Typhus really needs to do here is throw Mansreaper.

I'm not the most knowledgeable on Warhammer but isn't Typhus Nurgle's greatest mortal champion, like Kharn, Ahriman and Lucius are for the other Three? So he's not a daemon (and mortals can only become daemons by princehood, chaos spawn and daemonhosts don't count?). If time travelling arrows killing baby Typhus won't affect him because of these strings of fate shouldn't he have acausality? If so, someone should put it on his profile. As far as I know Madoka's death manip is you get hit and die instantly, psyker shenanigans and Nurgle's blessings may help but Typhus doesn't have death manip resistance so idk.

Well his form was mutated by Daemon plagues and venom. His insides are Daemon insects. So he should be a Daemon even if he isn't somehow in the warp he isn't affected by time. Warhammer profiles are outdated but in Warhammer most significant points in time most notably apotheosis. Where there are infinite strands of fate leading to a certain point where they connect in some way. An example, when Russ smote Magnus, when Lorgar met Magnus in his tower, Lorgar's pilgrimage in the warp reveals this.

I don't think that Death Manipulation is enough to tamper with Typhus' soul.
