First of all, why is 9-C labeled "Street level"? Does that imply that characters of that tier can bust a street? Because I think a street is pretty ******* big compared to a wall, or even a room. It should be named "Peak Human level" to fit with the other stats.

Secondly, I think that "Large Planet level" should become High 5-B and "Dwarf Star level" can take over 5-A. Not only would it be more consistent with the rest of the tiering system, but I also think it would look better.

Street level is a staple that comes from Marvel. We're not changing such a large tier with an easily recognizable name.

Actually have had literal Multiple friends wonder what the hell jacksparrow was that high for as street is misleading.

Street level ''is'' misleading but it's a commonly used term in versus debating communities and renaming the tier would take a lot of work for something that is certainly not worth it.

"Street level" refers to the term "street fighter". Someone who can comfortably hold their own in a street brawl.

Can't say I agree with your proposed renaming for Large Planet level and such.

You only need to look at the tiering system page to understand what Street level is. You just have to not be lazy.

Exactly. I'm suggesting to rename one tier and reorder two others. Nothing much, really.

As for the rest of you... I'm pretty sure that 10-As can comfortably be described as street fighters, so that argument doesn't work.

By the way, the fact that you acknowledge that "Street level" is misleading yet refuse to fix it because "it's common in other VS debating sites" not only gives off the impression that we're being reliant on those sites, but it also tells me that you staff members are becoming lazy.

This is more than a simple rename. You are asking for another wiki wide revision. It's more work than you think. Work that is not worth it in the long run

Contrary to what has been done in the past regarding the change of Striking Strength, as opposed to virtually the entire wikia in the changing of its definition. It is arguably less than whats presented at the moment since this only includes a sect of profiles and not a majority of the pages that are at hand.

It's a term that most people understand, so we have no reason to change it.

Also, your definition of us "being lazy" is "don't want to change a large fraction of the profiles based on your demands". Tier 9 is our largest tier category, and changing its name is not only absurdly tedious but not necessary.

The Tiering System isn't going to change here, period. Trying to change it to any degree further than clarifications, explanations, or the like will likely just result in administrator annoyance, warnings, and bans.

Since the opinions are universally against this measure, I think I can close this.
