I was wondering are twitter post a reliable source of evidence?, I'm asking because I've seen conflicting reports.

WoG is used to clear doubts and comfirm ambiguos stuff showed in the vurrent series, if is contradicted then we do not use them, twitter post included. We discourage any message against the author/writter of the verse about stuff like that, in order to avoid previous issues.

There are many levels of how this information can be accepted.
In some cases many authors do not care about the content of questions, give vague answers or literally respond using jokes.
In other cases it is possible that the authors really care about the doubt and end up giving more serious, less vague and important answers.
There is the case, for example, of Digimon, where the authors see no other way to expand the franchise except by Twitter, so they have created official profiles to further expand the story setting in a way that they are unable to do otherwise, since that they can't create new books every month like they did in the past.
