Totally Spies General Discussion Thread

The complete calc list.

AP and Durability:

Lifting Strength:
Speed:
Before the new season is out, reminder that we need these done. I still believe in Tier 8 base Spies.

Tbf with that Low 7-B one, from the pose he's in and the crater thats left, it looks like he leapt out of the way before it fully hit him. Buuuut we dont see that, so idm as long as its backed with other comparable feats

I assumed from the scream that he indeed did feel the pain of that, and given that he wouldn’t have had time to leap before the scream, I lean more towards the impact.

Edit: sorry, eepiness is messing with my memory. Meant to say there’s just a moment where he’s just staring up at the bomb screaming in terror and then a pained reaction, which leans to my opinion more that he took it.

I mean you would probably scream if a missile was coming straight for you, let alone it hitting you too. Its just standard fear reaction.

The drop on your knees and hands over head pose is usually for bracing impact though, and hes a good chunk away from the crater (as he would definitely have been blown back more if he was at the epicenter of that explosion) so it still just doesnt feel like he took it head on personally, but yh ik there are more feats like this within the verse anyway.
Someone needs to calc Alex tanking a wrecking ball from Season 7

I kinda feel like the intent was for him to have taken it. It does look weird, but like, after watching the number of feats in the show like this where people end up in odd places due to animation errors, I somewhat leave it up to that and go with what’s presented. I would compromise for a “possibly” rating though, which is probably what would happen in the CRT anyways. The Town level rating is already very close to it.

There’s actually two better feats in Season 7. One is a giant stone golem destroying the wall of a museum (very high end of Small Building level and Clover one-shots it), and Clover using a gadget to completely destroy the roof of a skyscraper, which has been a little harder to calc.

In the same episode, they get busted Data hax as well.

I also found this wild feat from this episode where a lady absorbs rays from the sun to project a ray that only knocks the girls back a bit.

Wouldn't do much in terms of AP, but the Heat resistance must go insane.

Ngl as much as her surname is legit, i think we should just call all the profiles by their first names, since thats the most iconic (and i swear the main three spies have had multiple surnames over the years), and follow it with (Totally Spies!) in bracket

You search up Mandy but since 'Luxe' is like, bottom-of-the-iceberg level knowledge, no one knows its her by that

Iirc I think those are the only surnames they’ve been given and it just feels better to differentiate them from other similarly named characters by their full names.

We can do that using 'Sam (Totally Spies!)' for example. Thats bound to be way more recognizable to viewers than adding that last name, since Sam, Alex, Clover, Mandy are best known for just being called that and would be searched in that way

I think that usually those titles are better used for characters we don’t know the real names of.

They're used to separate characters with different names mostly, but like...the show will go about every which way to call them by their first names. And again, the main spies' surnames are inconsistent. Its how literally everyone identifies them as and is so much better for identifying them in search box.

There are loads of cases of this too when the surname isnt relevantly used, and we can still keep it in the Name section of the page surely.

Also wouldnt Mandy get Social Influencing? Its a bit inconsistent since ppl can also find her obnoxious but shes been able to get what she wants a lot of the time

I guess that's alright then.

She would, I just haven't come across many instances in which this is shown effectively. I could try digging though. I thought at first her Futureshock takeover might be a good SI feat, but it was hypnosis, so I leaned more towards that.

Also new calc for the verse - sort of. It's from Martin Mystery, which is the sibling verse of Totally Spies. In their crossover, Clover harms Martin and knocks him down so they all scale to this.

Yh, Marvin Mystery and The Amazing Spiez both probably have their own treasure trove of feats we can scale to
