Toriko Discussion Thread #3

It seems antonio gave for valid the GBE calculation, so... we need more input from the others calculation members right? I could make the content thread if you agree.

I have an issue with the GBE. Toriko Wiki says:

"With a circumference of 220,000 kilometers, the planet is a gigantic one far larger than our world in size and has a very unusual form of gravity, with some areas having stronger fields of gravity than others, which may work in peculiar ways depending on the area."

I feel uncomfortable with this statement, since it has both severe ranges on gravity, not just the human world. The gourmet world has gravity that has islands in the sky to mountains with 100G gravity. It makes me question if the earth is possible to calculate due to the range of GBE. I would propose that he might have to use the lowest example,(floating islands), then earth-like, then 100G, then average them to find the most average gravitational binding.

It's fiction, physics dont always correlate with real world. If they did, we couldnt have FTL movement or the infinite mass punch wouldnt be "star level". And using the different gravity showings would be inaccurate since they are a really small part of the planet. And somehow people in the floating islands were affected by normal gravity, they werent floating.

I know, but it's just eerie to me a bit e_e But I guess we'll leave it how it is.

But we still need more people to agree with the actual calc in the thing to use as evidence.

I have posted a thread in the content revision forum. Feel free to comment there.

Thanks.

Mmm. Unfortunately, it looks like the calc didn't turn out as good as most of us were hoping. From what I read, it only solidified Acacia at 5-A. Unless I'm reading it wrong.

I hope they decide to pass it. 4-C Acacia? Too good to be true. Also, there's a rumor going around that Acacia is going to evolve in the upcoming chapter. So, could be getting even bigger feats in the future. Acacia needs to nom on a solar system of galaxy.

Yeah, you can add that part for Acacia if you want.
did it a few moments ago :)

^i also think acacia will get another upgrade, it already got foreshadowed by torikos question about neo...
