He can decay anything he can solidly touch or hold. Doesn't go any further than reducing something to dust. For obvious reason he can't decay things like gas/air.

He cannot decay liquids to our knowledge. To be more accurate, we've never seen him decay liquids. He has turned ice into dust however. (Todoroki's ice)

Sand was a problem for him, but his enhanced decay should be able to take care of it as his issue was being unable to touch one grain of sand with all five fingers. Now he doesn't need to touch a single grain, since his decay spreads to any object that is in contact with the object he's decaying. AKA a decay wave that travels through the ground.

Shigaraki has been shown to even decay Re-Destro's Burden, which is when he extracts his stress and makes it corporeal for an attack.

So would suigetsu be able to avoid decay by liquifying himself? Would decay affect those completely made out of sand like sandman or Crocodile?

Suigetsu would be able to avoid it by becoming water, however he's only 7-B+. Since he's downscaling from a baseline 7-A character, that means he's 53.15 or baseline 7-B+. Shigaraki is 748 Megatons, which means he's 14X stronger and more durable than Suigetsu. Along with having regeneration, there's no way Suigetsu can kill him.

Suigetsu's profile doesn't mention any dura negation attacks. Also Shiggy has electric/lightning attacks, which is Suigetsu's weakness.

Crocodile can avoid decay easily just by separating his pieces of sand and the decay won't spread. Decay needs contact and can't spread through air (He can also just fly). Crocodile stomps as he can one shot Shiggy with his dura negation dehydration attack and has enough AP to just stab him through the head as well.

Shiggy has no real way of actually killing him too, since Crocodile would have to let himself be killed by decay or be unconscious/incapable of moving for some reason. Even if Shiggy coated his arm with his blood like Luffy did to hit Crocodile, he has High 6-A/Multi-Continental level durability. Which means he can't hurt him.

So decay is the only way he can kill Crocodile, but he'll never be able to decay him fully. If Crocodile flies in the air, Shiggy has zero way of being able to hurt him.

@Abysswalker2126

Seems to be looking for one, I'm indifferent to it. Unless the fight is an actually noticeable fight and not just an obvious victory that doesn't count as a stomp.
