Silver the Hedgehog (Archie Pre-Genesis Wave) vs Grovyle (PMD Explorers) ​

Both are Low 2-C. Speed is equalized. Both in character. SBA otherwise. Who takes this and why?

What stops Silver from just "it's no use"-ing Grovyle until he's dead?

Also, Silver can become much stronger when he uses the power rings, which is standard equipment for him. Grovyle can get stronger too with overgrow, but that happens when Grovyle is already pretty beaten down.

Also, while Grovyle can boost too such as by using agility and such, he never seen using them in-character, so the likelyhood of him doing that in time isn't very high. On the other hand, while Silver doesn't really start with moves such as Chaos Control, he did used it at time and would at least opt to use it before Grovyle will boost as well.

Telekinesis basically, the "it's no use" phrase comes from the battle between Sonic and Silver from Sonic 2006

I took a look at this and the match still seems valid to me with no changes ever since then.

That said, Silver can restrain Grovyle in place and there's nothing he'll be able to do about it to break free or stop Silver from wailing on him then and there. So I'll say Silver FRA.
