Dude, Malachite had comparable lifting strength, vastly superior AP, and Lapis was being attacked both physically and mentally. Gidzilla has far less lifting strength, is weaker, and Lapis is operating at full capacity here. Lapis held Malachite in place for months. Godzilla needs to be restrained for a week. Do the math.

Vaporizing the ocean means nothing if he still can't break the chains holding him down.
