Unlike most heroes in TES, The Vestige is completely immortal in a ways of surviving many reality blows of Molag Bal or I mean you failed so many times to defeating a god but still get revived.

Destroying a soul never killed the Vestige. That's a level of baddassery, which Hakai would not work at all.

It is justified in the lore. Thousands of players running around ESO are in fact undead or "Daedric" as they have no souls and totally immortal. Read Azure Plasm as it is indicated in the profile.

In this case, I can see Vestige winning as the hero uses legendary artifacts to tip the scale.
