Over the course of the past month I decided to try and revise Gwenpool, whose current profile is in a, let's say, questionable condition. My story with the character goes back to when I still used to buy Deadpool comics, which here in Italy used to feature Gwenpool stories as extra inserts, even though they never got past the 15th issue or something. I was pretty much unaware of whatever had been of her, as I never caught up with her comics until now, and I must say it's been a true revelation. Despite some questionable choices, her comics are a real journey, especially the original series. Despite the highs and lows of the second miniseries, I really re-evaliated it during the second read. Although her future is uncertain, even her last appearances in Love Unlimited and Jeff the Land Shark have been interesting.
Useless yapping aside, let's get to the main body of the thread. Get ready to read, because I added a TON of stuff.

Current Profile - New profile

I'll be diving this thread in a few section, because working on her has been quite more complicated than I initially expected.
I'm copy-pasting most of the text from the sandbox, so if some links don't work it's because the picture is uploaded on the wiki, so just refresh the page or open them from the sandbox. All references are in the sandbox, because copy-pasting them results in a formatting mess.

Keys

I removed her "rebooted" version simply because I see no need for having such a key. She doesn't really get rebooted in a proper sense and, unlike what the current profile says, she does maintain all her post-awakening abilities. This is displayed in the very issue where she retcons herself into a mutant, as at the end she still manages to get out of the comic book. Likewise, in her next appearances she still has access to the Gutter Space and similar abilities.

Statistics

Attack Potency and Striking Strength
I had to perform several separations, as Gwen's statistics are determined by a number of factors. The bulk of the explanation is in the P&A section here below, so bear with me for now. Gwen has her own physical capabilities, the weapons she has access to, her fate-bending abilities which tinker with her and other characters' statistics, and lastly the Gutter Space (only in her second key)
Gwen's strength varies greatly depending on her state of mind (again, this is better explained below) and the situation she is involved in, so for this reason she deserves a Varies.
Varies (Gwenpool's powers automatically adjust the strength of either her, her opponent or perhaps both to induce an outcome in which she is either victorious or at least manages to survive. This was made most blatant when she confronted characters much stronger than her average self, as better explained above)

First Key: Under normal conditions she displays 9-C levels of strength, for which I added just a few more feats. I have upgraded her weapons to up to 9-A because her rpg can incinerate a whole person (references for common feats has it such a level). Gwen's current profile has a High 8-C feat scaling from her evil, future self, which (as also explained below) is a wholly different character with different abilities and weapons, so there is no reason to scale her to Main Gwen. When Gwenpool's "protagonism powers" kicked in, she becomes 9-B, as she managed to bisect Deadpool (who is 9-B) and defeat MODOK, who's currently unknown, but things may change when I revise him (I got fond of this creep).
Street level (Despite her fluctuating power level, Gwenpool consistently displays a minimum, settled level of strength. Has frequently kicked doors down with ease, which should require such levels of force. Sliced Rocket Racoon's gun in half with her sword. Beat up a mob of armed men using only her bare hands.) up to Wall level (When her powers kick in, she becomes able to compete with opponents much stronger than her. Notably, she destroyed M.O.D.O.K's eye and mechanical legs with purely physical attacks. Sliced through Deadpool's chest with a sword strike). up to Small Building level with her weapons (Her explosives generate large explosions and her rocket launcher could instantly turn a man into ashes, which would require such levels of force)

Second key: Physicals and weapons are unchanged, as no particular or higher feat comes up (aside from what I just said about durability) and she doesn't display any particular physical improvement, aside from skill. Her fate-bending abilities have now allowed her to defeat the likes of Ultron, Malekith, Magneto and most notably Mephisto and Dormammu, but of whom while residing in their respective realms, thus making them 1-A. The rating is still an "up to", for it explicitly varies on a case by case basis, and Gwen has lost to weaker opponents (as said in the weakness and P&A sections).
The Gutter Space is a trascendental realm from which basically all of Marvel Comics is seen as a lower-dimensional comic book. We are never given explicit information on its placing within the cosmology, but we see that it trascends Dormammu's Dark Dimension and Mephisto's Hell. I'm not knowledgeable enough to determine whether such a level of transcendentality warrants a High, so you tell me. We see this place being under the authority of a higher creative force, which I compared to either the Beyonder of TOAA, but this is purely my speculation based on their role within Marvel Comics in general, there is no reference to it in any Gwenpool comic.
Varies
, at least Street level physically on average (Comparable to her past self. Knocked out a shark with a single punch), up to Small Building level with her weapons (Has access to the same equipment. Her new energy sword bisected M.O.D.O.K. with a single blast) and up to Outerverse level with her powers (Defeated Ultron, Malekith and Magneto by ramming them over on Silver Surfer's board. Knocked out Mephisto in Hell with a single kick. Was able to somehow meet Agamotto and have him craft her a magic rocket launcher strong enough to subdue Dormammu within his own Dark Dimension. Her future self could influence even Eternity itself, although the means through which she accomplished such a feat are unknown) and within the Gutter Space (This realm has been seen transcending other higher-dimensional locations such as Hell and the Dark Dimension. It was shown to be below only the will of the creative force, identified as the creators, the writers or the fans, and possibly superimposable to the likes of The Beyonders or perhaps even The One Above All)

Durability
Her durability also deserved an upgrade, for Gwenpool is a rare case of stone wall character, enduring cartoonish levels of damage but not showing any consistent levels of comparable strength. I don't have any specific calc aside of the speeding car feat and her "post-awakening" feats may be reliably calculated, but I haven't right now the means of doing it and there's a 99% chance the result is still within 9-B levels.
Varies, at least Wall level (On average, Gwenpool demonstrates to be at minimum around such levels. Was violently rammed by a speeding car, which should have carried such levels of force, and got up a few moments later having seemingly suffered only mild damage. Was apparently unhurt after falling from a high rise building down into a truck full of ducks. Was completely fine after landing head first onto a foot-thick window. Pre Awakening, Unbelievable Gwenpool Gwen survived being crushed by the Hulk, but her Champions self, from a slightly earlier point in time, could not make it) | Varies , at least Wall level (At the very least equal to her previous self. Withstood a point-blank, localized explosion. Endured being crushed by a volley of M.O.D.O.K. armors which cratered the ground), up to Outerverse level with her powers (Withstood the recoil of the kick with which she knocked out Mephisto), Outerverse level within the Gutter Space

Speed
The division between superhuman and unknown of the two keys that the current profile has is nonsensical, so I took it away. Like previous statistics, speed may vary as well, but its showings are less clear than they are for strength and durability, so instead of looking for specific scalings, I recognized their changing nature but relied mostly on clear feats. My choice went to Transonic because she can move in tandem with sound effects, which are, well sounds, even silencing them outright. She also possesses a few feats that back up such level. Her weapons go from Subsonic to Supersonic due to real life scaling. The Gutter Space trascends space and time, so it warrants Immeasurable. I have also removed references to her duel with Blade, since it occurs in, like, two panels and he is explicitly not fighting her seriously.
At least Transonic (Evaded several attacks from M.O.D.O.K., outrunning even his firearms and missiles. Grabbed onto a subway train. moving at top speed. Most likely comparable to her future self, due to having experienced little physical improvements and have been portrayed as comparable to her) ), Subsonic to Supersonic with her weapons (Firearms such as pistols, machine guns and rocket launchers reach such levels) | At least Transonic (Could move in tandem with sound effects and catch them before they could propagate. Dodged Captain America's attempt of catching her. Outran the Hulk for a while. Ducked under M.O.D.O.K.'s laser), Subsonic to Supersonic with her weapons, Immeasurable within the Gutter Space)

Lifting Strength
Same as before, it likely Varies, but we are given even fewer feats and so I relied with what was shown. She may even breach into Superhuman, but I wasn't really sure, so I ketp the Peak Human. The Gutter Space is Immeasurable FRA.
Likely Varies, at least Peak Human (Launched Howard the Duck with enough strength to knock out a Hydra agent. Could grab and hold on onto subway train moving at top speed, although it caused her light injuries. The awakening of her physical powers didn't influence her physical attributes, meaning she should be comparable to her future self) | Likely Varies, at least Peak Human (Tossed in the air several bags full of gold bars. Wielded an oversized rocket launcher. Could swing a giant, double-handed hammer), Immeasurable within the Gutter Space (Gwen sees entire blocks of reality, each containing a number of cosmologies within themselves, as comic book pages which she can handle as if they were actual sheets of paper)

Powers&Abilites
Here there wasn't much to actually remove, but it was more a matter of adding, rewording or expanding.
Brief list and reasons of what I actually removed goes as:
  • Surface Scaling (third key): Unexplained in the old profile and I didn't find a reason why it was there.
  • Information Analysis: Unexplained, my best guess is that it comes from reading the comic book pages representing the universe, but it doesn't fit quite right. Besides, it's been replaced by Clairvoyance.
  • Pocket Reality Manipulation: The Gutter Space isn't a pocket reality.
  • Telepathy: It's vision-based, so I put it under Enhanced Senses.
  • Resistances to Memory Manipulation: She doesn't resist memory wiping, she just regains them, I replaced it with another ability.
  • Illusion Creation: Unexplained and I didn't find anything fitting it.
  • Everything related to Evil Gwen: For some reason the profile goes by the assumption that the main Gwenpool has the same abilities and equipment of her evil, alternate version, even though she never becomes her. Evil Gwen also possesses her own unique abilities and is stated time and time again to possess higher control over the Gutter Space due to having had many more years of practice. Notably, what has been removed or replaced is:
    • Size Manipulation (replaced with a different application showcased by main Gwen), Dream Manipulation
Now, onto additions and re-elaborations. Some of this is quite crazy and not combat applicable, but still not less valid. Some are also heavily based on meta-narrative, but they are explicitly told through exposition and fit perfectly within her characterization and the tone of her stories.

First Key:

Second Key: Same as before, plus

Everything else

I have expanded the summary and adjusted her age to the most recent developments.

Stamina:
Adjustments to the new rating + an explanation
At least Athletic (Gwenpool appears to be in an optimal physical condition and is able to engage in long-lasting battles and adventures)

Range:
Adjustments + a more comprehensive description
Standard Melee Range physically, up to Hundreds of Meters with weapons | Standard Melee Range physically, up to Hundreds of Meters with weapons, Outerversal with various abilities
Equipment:
Various additions, plus the removal of the blasters, which belonged only to Evil Gwen.
Standard Equipment: A pair of pistols, two swords, grenades, or custom bombs, cell phone
Optional Equipment: Knives, machine guns, RPG, sniper rifle, various other guns and explosives, single-use shield generator, smoke bombs, adhesive bombs, assorted stereotypical anti-vampire gear. | Same as before, plus Magic Rocket Launcher, Multipurpose Gun (Grappling Hook and Creampuff), Giant Hammer, Shuriken, Energy Sword, pretty much whatever she can pull out of the Gutter Space or just wish into reality

Intelligence:
Two downgrades, most notably from Gifted and Extraordinary Genius to simply Above Average. The reasons are as follows:
  • Out-strategizing Deadpool, as seen above, was merit of her fate manipulation powers
  • The portal to the Marvel universe was created by the company for which she worked part-time, it's explained in the very same issue (Unbelievable Gwenpool 16)
  • Gwenpool was trained by Batroc for like, a couple days, and he himself states she had yet to learn a lot. The skill she demonstrates later in time is acquired off-screen and it's better to not make shallow assumptions such as her being a master of martial arts and whatever
  • Most of her second rating comes from stuff carried out by her evil, future self, but you don't need to be an extraordinary genius for those things anyway, especially when you are nearly omnipotent like her. Taking advantage of Squirrel Girl's powers is also headcanon and not stated in the comic
The new description goes as:
Before entering the Marvel universe, Gwen was substantially an average teenager. She initially depicted as obtuse and lacking in common sense for even blatant matters, but such a trait has been heavily toned down not long after. Some examples include mistaking the hideous effects of a virus (which she knew was a biological weapon) for common mumps or simply speaking without really knowing what she is talking about. She was later portrayed as much more level-headed, with only occasional lack of awareness.

Being a huge nerd of Marvel comics let her build an encyclopedic knowledge of almost everything related to them [with the exception of Deadpool and especially the Guardians of the Galaxy]
which inside their own world turned into extremely precious and convenient resources that came her in handy many times. Gwen has grown sensibly since entering the new world, taking on several mercenary jobs alone and with her partners, but also teaming up with groups of heroes, most notably the West Coast Avengers and the X-Men. She became a fine warrior, capable of utilizing actual combat techniques on top of her odd powers. Her greatest feat was, perhaps, taking down M.O.D.O.K. on their second encounter thanks to sheer fighting skill. Gwen is also very creative with her meta-narrative and reality-warping superpowers, as she utilizes them in a number of useful ways, as showcased in the respective section. Thanks to them, Gwen has managed to repeteadly put herself out of difficult situations and carry on through the many challenges that obstructed her way from time to time.

Solved a case of school bombing and prevented further incidents by guessing that the writer was recycling an old storyline. Correctly deduced that a race of squid-like aliens would have had issues telling earthen species apart. Quickly figured out Arcade's deception and immediately saw though his disguise. Tricked all the most popular heroes into visiting her island, thus falling into her trap. Some years after entering the Marvel Universe, Gwen joined the Empire State University and is seemingly keeping on with her studies

Added a standard tactics section to help convey her average behavior:

Before awakening her true powers, Gwenpool didn't have any sort of combat training and could at most handle weapons simply thanks to pure force of habit. She was extremely clumsy and much of the work was done by her subconscious ability to bend fate granting her an unfair advantage against her foes. Although she received a little training, Gwenpool still relied mostly on the sheer firepower and area of effect of automatic weapons and explosives, of which she was incredibly fond. Even after obtaining her reality-warping abilities, Gwen still preffered to meet her opponents in face-front, now with the aid of actual fighting abilities which she refined on the battlefield. The Gutter Space isn't used much as a combat tool but rather as either a way of escaping a dire situation or in order to harness its several, useful characteristics which allow Gwen to dictate the course of events in more subtle ways. At first Gwenpool had absolutely no qualms about killing people, but she gradually shifted towards less murderous tactics, although she never gave up such habit completely.
Weaknesses:
General adjustments and expansions. I removed the one about becoming weaker with changes in the past, since that would work for anyone, it's literally retconning your history.

Her fate-manipulating powers don't always work and they immediately ceased to have any effect on Deadpool when he realized he was confronting a fellow fourth-wall breaker. Ever since entering Marvel Comics, Gwen has effectively become part of that world and abides to the rules of the creative force which governs it, even though she has still some wiggle room and can actively operate against the higher will. Gwen cannot travel to alternate futures if her present has no way of changing, such as being locked in a cell, but she can still travel to the past. She also cannot jump into a scene which has not been portrayed by the creative force in the form of a comic book page. However, this latter weakness has most likely been overcome the moment when she learned to manipulate events occurring off-panel. Her powers explicitly stop working depending on the whims of the author, an example being team books, where she is forbidden from showcasing the true extent of her abilities. The latter notion is made even more explicit by her victory and losses record, where depending on the situation, she managed to triumph over cosmic beings while also losing to regular superheroes.

That was all, please let me know your thoughts!

Overall, the revision looks good to me, but there’s a few nitpicks and critiques I have.
We see this place being under the authority of a higher creative force, which I compared to either the Beyonder of TOAA, but this is purely my speculation based on their role within Marvel Comics in general, there is no reference to it in any Gwenpool comic.
I don’t think it should be referenced on the profile then, if it’s pure speculation.
This is 100% real and true, no notes from me

Formatting-wise, if you’re gonna put her keys in tabbers for her Attack Potency, you should do it with her other stats as well.

Also, I would be remiss if I didn’t note that in Gwenpool Strikes Back #3, it’s stated that Gwen would lose a fight to Squirrel Girl, which could be added to Doreen’s page as more support for her 1-A rating

I agree, I'll remove that bit.

I went for this option because the AP section is quite long, with all the explanations, while the other stats remain still within some short boundaries.
Do you think it the difference creates confusion?

I wouldn't trust too much on that, because Gwenpool's scaling must always be treated carefully. In the same issue she gets stomped by Ms. Marvel, and several other times (even after awakening her powers) she had to escape from or was defeated by heroes way below even just herald-levels.
Gwen's fate-amplification may just not kick in against Doreen, just like it didn't work on Deadpool when he realized it was based on metanarrative.

I could see it causing some confusion, but I mainly think it just makes the profile look less cohesive if only one stat is in tabbers while the others are formatted normally.

Yeah, fair, I just thought I’d mention it.

I believe I mentioned that I'd put her on my list of possible revamps during a versus threads few months ago. Glad someone else took the job.

I have some problems with this. The powers and scaling seems mostly fine.
You divided her in pre and post awakening but for example this
  • Dynamite Gams (admit it Gwen pool manipulated your mind to put that there get her tier 0)
Happened on Love infinity comic which happens way after she awakened, you have multiple references to Gwenpool strikes back and love infinity comic on her pre awakening which happened long after awakening stil during unbelievebla gwenpool.
The current profile is divided as pre awakening which happened in the few first chapters of unbelievable gwenpool, post awakening which happened after a few chapters, and the reboot which is when Gwenpool retcon herself into being a mutant at the end of gewnpool strikes back.
Overall I don't really think she lost any of her powers when she retconned herself so it's fine if it's just divided as pre and post awakening but it should be properly divided.

The references to future stories in her pre-awakening key come from stuff she has by default and they were revealed retroactively.
The hammerspace feat was performed by her past self, simply brought to the future.
The Fate Manipulation feats work on the same principle and have been mentioned by characters even before her awakening, and the AP coming from them is correctly divided from time periods in the AP section.
Acausality and immortality are innate properties of her own nature as an "outsider character" and she must always have had them. They were revealed to her by two, more experinced versions of herself, and are unrelated to either the Gutter Space or Subjective Reality.
Precognition and Probability manipulation work by the same principle, she knows how stories work and she takes advantage of it, she has feats of this ability coming from both pre and post-awakening. These ideas she has come from the whim of the moment, not any specific ability she has refined upon awakening her true power.
Dynamite Gams [the latter being slang for women legs] is an easter egg, but it's explicitly about her appearance and in the same comic she says her pride for its look is the reason why she has never covered her legs.

Question: Is the Hulk the Gwenpool's fight regular Hulk or Devil Hulk? I'm asking since it looks like Devil Hulk, but I'm not 100% sure.

Second Question: Wouldn't that Gwenpools vs Hulk feat be at the least Planet level for durability?

The problem is that, Gwen's awakening was not she getting powers but realizing she had them the whole time but was unaware they were there, like Thor in MCU realizing he wasn't the god of hammers, so if we ignore that then there wouldn't be a second key.
