The Ultimate Ultimate-Ultimate Ultimate Naming Convention

Minor revision, but may as well discuss it.

We now have the new Ultimate Marvel page, named Ultimate Universe. This is not to be confused with Ultimate Marvel, which is still called Ultimate Marvel. Confusion is imminent

Objective of the thread is:

• Figuring out what to call their verse pages
• Figuring out what to call their profiles, the (Verse Name Here) part
• Figuring out what to call them on the Tab2 on the top of profiles

This isn't anything objective or pressing, so honestly anyone can chime in.

Or we could use the Earth designations, either something like "Hawkeye (Earth-1610)" and "Hawkeye (Earth-6160)," or "Hawkeye (Ultimate 1610)" and "Hawkeye (Ultimate 6160)."

They just use the Earth designation for each character. So they have like Thor Odinson (Earth-616), Thor Odinson (Earth-19999), Thor Odinson (Earth-6160), etc.

Edit: Wait, I was wrong. On their disambiguation pages, they also list it as "Prime Marvel Universe," "Ultimate Universe," "New Ultimate Universe," and "Marvel Cinematic Universe."

Happy to see 6160 finally get some love on this wiki. I've been working on some sandboxes for a while now that are a good few months out of date but I'll update them whenever I can.

Also just noticed 6160 Hawkeye's profile shouldn't be connected to Clint Barton Hawkeye since it's just a mantle and they're different characters.

We allow for that kinda linking, as long as like, they are representing the same character, and Charli's like, very much a version of 60s era Hawkeye given how they adapt them.

It's not, it's a separate imprint repping a separate universe, where 99.99% of the story is set within the separate universe, not mainline.

And like, even if it wasn't, I'd still recommend separating it so the Marvel verse page, which reps like, 400ish pages, doesn't also have 200 more pages to list, with like, 8 different Spider-Man (Peter Parker) pages. Verse expertise and calcs can also be listed separately, which don't have much to do with mainline.

It's just neater, and verses allow for this, so why not do it.

Vertigo is just, set in mainline DC 90% of the time, and it's not really a "verse" anyways for those 10%, they don't have a connectivity

Even if Charli is an adaptation of 60s era Hawkeye there is an actual Clint Barton in 6160 that rejected the mantle. Just my opinion but I think Charli shouldn't be in Clint's tab2.

Eh, if 6160 Clint ends up being Hawkeye I'd vouch removal then, rn tho there is only one Hawkeye in New Ultimate, and it's Charli.

Original Ultimate also does this revamped origin shit for alot of characters, often times assigning them completely new aliases, and we usually try to list them by alias rather than real name.

So don't see the issue for now.
