I think Tricky takes this, for the most part Shang tends to be a jobber in MK though he did better in Aftermath but I'd give the skill edge to Tricky here. Generally Shang opens with trying to mimic his opponent and lobbing projectiles and does soul rip stuff later but I don't see him winning this one here tbh

Tricky's resistance is based off his own physical phsiology, not his soul. so he could theoretically try to absorb his soul, but it wouldn't work regardless since he's pumped with more S-3LF energy.
