Look, can we just upgrade Digimon to 1-A and get it over with? It's bound to happen. OvO
Digimon isnt about OP monsters, its about awesome stories and adventures in a dream-like world, boi.

also Lucemon ovo

No, it's about OP monsters. You guys convinced me of that when everything became 2-A or higher and the only Digimon with a loss is Lilithmon ovo.

Then TRI abridged convinced me that it's actually more than that...

Dammit, I'm conflicted! Can I just have a love/hate relationship with Lucemon and it winds up settled? ovo

@Cal You should watch Tamers. Very little fighting and it only goes into OP stuff like once or twice. The rest is just awesome adventure with great character development and really ****** up writing.

Sounds like a great series to start at since the different Digimon series are separate from each other I think

Yeah, Digimon is easy to start with. Anime wise I say Savers outta bias. For games I say CS outta bias. For manga I say do whatever tf you want. Ovo

you know, I dont like Tamers because of that last arc and Jenny. Seriously.

@Js In Tamers, Adventure (and presumably 02) is an anime series that Takato, Henry, Kazu and Kenta (whose profiles I just noticed were deleted, rip) are really into, so they already know what Digimon are when Digimon start to come to the real world. It's a great angle.

Savers and Frontier are great too.

Okay, here is a Digi-Sin of mine. I stopped watching Tamers after the Gallantmon vs Beelzemon fight. ..

So you didn't watch the part where Takato just sort of gave up fighting D-REAPER to go to the beach and fight Satan?

I sorry, but I am pretty sure Daemon wasn't in Tamers. Ovo

It wasn't.

The plot revolved around a toy company selling V-Pets that were secretly viruses and surprise! The head of the company was Mephistomo.

I still don't get what I watched.

What are some highlights you can tell me about it, and what characters should I look forward to getting to know? And can it give me ideas for my verse ovo?

Rika and Renamon go through some real character development. Guilmon is ******* adorable.

One question, does anyone have any idea what the age of Takumi might be? I'm trying to figure out his reaction to Takmon's lasers, but I have no idea what the height of Takumi might be.

He is still a student so I would say around 16 or 17. Also he looks pretty tall overall.

I've been able to gather more than 90 files in CS to make the Eaters Respect Thread. After reviewing everything I get the confirmation, Suedo is one of the best characters of the franchise OvO

Also another sin.

I never watched 02 past the first few episodes.
Thats why you always forget about our lord and saviour Imperialdramon, huh.

@Cal. Some highlights for Tamers (Spoilers ahead)

  • Impmon in general. He's like an inversion of the "Friend that no one likes" trope, as in, everyone considers him a friend, but he hates everyone. It's endearing and oddly adorable, but takes a dar turn in the Digital World arc.
    • Just as a heads up, they only spend like, 10 episodes in the Digital World. Most of the series is set in the real world, which is refreshing.
  • Jeri and Leomon's relationship. Jeri wants Leomon to be her "big brother", at first Leomon wants to avoid her, but he eventually warms up to her and the two forge a really cute bond. (sigh)
  • Takato's character as a whole. He's just such a nerdy, dorky, geeky kid who loves Digimon and card games. He's such a sweet, gentle and caring kid that you can't help but be endeared to him, which is why when he finally does unleash his rage...well, it's not pretty.
  • Rika too. She goes through a ton of character development that by the time the Digital World arc comes around, she's also completely different, but it never feels like her character took a sharp turn at any given moment, just natural growth.
  • Beelzemon in general. Starts off as a badass villain but eventually grows into a heroic figure. He's such a softy, especially when he deals with kids, that it's adorable. His interactions with Suzie were great.
  • Antylamo.
  • The battles in the first arcs were all great. The stakes were always high and their was some real strategy at play.
  • Biggest Dreamer

Ah, Beelzemon. That character is one I'm really looking forward to. Same with Rika and Rena. It's a shame the only thing I saw with Renamon is her getting killed by Lucario.

...I realized too late that context will be needed.

Giant emotionless bunny slowly approaching scares the living crap out of me, and the smiling little girl only makes it scarier. ovo
