The Revenant Marvel Comics Discussion Thread

Sooo… while I am here. I think we need to establish some sort of exception in terms of our profile and their keys standards.
Agreed.

If we do this, I would love to at least have some reason to. Or remove the appearance limit entirely, it never really made sense anyway.
I believe we should consider a few things like if it has narrative importance, cultural/story influence, and if it has enough difference in power (like if it was different abilities, different stats, etc). A example would be Tigra's human form, or The Cat. She only had 4 actual issues, yet, she had A LOT of abilities, actual good and consistent scaling, and it's influential in the character's lore. According to our rules, it should go, but I'd disagree.

I think that we can make occasional exceptions for extremely important characters for narrative or scaling, but definitely not that we should remove the limit entirely, as we would be absolutely flooded with minor characters that are very hard to define a reliable consistency for. 🙏

I agree that we shouldn't remove the limit entirely as well, but we should change the wording to "around 15 issues." In exchange, maybe add other requirements like the character needing a more expanded set of abilities, so we aren't flooding characters that only has super strength in his P&A tab.

15 is for keys for pre-existing characters, the official requirement is 20.

So, narrative and scaling importance?
Yes. I think that we can make occasional exceptions for very prominent extreme cases. 🙏
