Summary: I propose Madness Manipulation (type 3) for chaos magic in general.

The Japanese description of this octopus says the following:

暗黒の魔力で狂暴化したタコ
"An octopus driven mad by dark magic"

I usually see supernatural things like Madness type 3, so that's what I initially propose. I'm not the best expert on certain types of MS.

I'm also not an expert in Japanese, so the Japanese phrase is there for you to check.

Eh....the sentence, ngl, sound pretty vague, the madness is fine, but it could be any types though, cause we don't even know the process of how the dark magic cause the madness. Type 3 is cognition type which mean it cause madness via looking at, so we need to see if the octupus get mad simply via gazing at the magic or not to see it is type 3 or not

It could also be, I just put it as initially because I don't think the wiki provides a very precise explanation when things go beyond the simple "Looking makes you crazy" but it's also not something similar to mind manipulation to make someone crazy.

Like, sound, I've seen it on the wiki being used for type 3 and type 2. So I put it as type 3 because I think it fits better than 2, which is basically mental manipulation (literally written mental manipulation on the page)

But I don't care which type to pass.

I guess it could work? Normally it would be type 2 Madness manipulation given that’s somewhat more magic specific but knowing how corruptive in nature Darkness/Chaos can get, you could make the case that this is type 3.
