Asriel's "Power Nullification" (if you can even call it that) is useless since it only prevents the enemy from attacking physically and a few other things, not dodging or using hax.

Asriel is 100% less likely to insta gib with Soul Absorption than the Player is to erase.

Asriel never used Soul Absorbption on Frisk, and if the player's indeed 4D, that's out of the window.

As a video game character, the player doesn't have an established personality, so he can very well start with them. Besides, they are the only things he can do outside of creating/ entering worlds or changing the language of the game.

The only thing Asriel tried to do to Frisk was throwing stars at him and a giant goat-cannon, but that's about it. Besides, he's really overconfident in battle.

In term of speed and likeliness to be successful, Erasure > Danmaku. He would need to land a hit before the Player erases, which is very unlikely.

Have you ever went into a Nether Fortress. That place alone certainly qualifies as danmaku.

Also it doesn't really take concentration to do it. The Player can just will it into happening.
