The Omnitrix functioning even with Ben's hand being chopped

Just saw the episode, Ben could feel his hand, but he had little to no control over it's actions, the Omnitrix took control of it in order to protect him. Hell it even searched for Juilie on it's own so its safe to assume the Omnitirx's AI tood decisions for Ben in order to help him, and this was without Master control

That's absurd speculation. Ofcourse he had little control over his hand, it's still connected to his body, this doesn't mean at all that the Omnitrix can do the same if his hand were actually chopped. The Master Control would make no change there as well, that just comes out of nowhere.

Yeah, but what happened is that the hand walked on it's ownand attacked on it's own, hell it even knew where to find Julie so she could take the hand to Kevin and Gwen something that Ben could have in no way done on it's own. My guess is that if it had Master control it would transform Ben into an Alien that could either reatach the hand, or reform it altogether, but this is speculation.

Well, all of that is fine, all the other stuff it can do no profile says anything about should also be added, but the very thing being brought in this thread should still be added.

Also can someone elaborate how this additions (the positive ones) would look like?

On the top of my mind, scanning others should also be Information Analysis. The Omnitrix being an ai means it should have its own Intelligence section, with that elaborating the help it gives to Ben.

Not much beyond that.

So im guessing the weakness is still being added? Because the Omnitrix being able to control Bens hand doesnt mean Ben can still use it when its physically disconnected from his body to transform.

Even though Ben can't use the Omnitrix after it's been removed it will do everything in it's power to prevent it so there's that. Plus, you can't actually remove it without hostile action from the Omnitrix or Ben deactivating it.
