It was still a traumatizing situation seeing how 1. he had constant flashbacks of the event, 2. avoids speaking about it, 3. showed enormous regret and guilt over the event and 4. it's base for the Dissociative Amnesia theory (idk another word for it, it's probably theory? hm)
