The God of High School Discussion Thread 4: Post-Anime Apocalypse

He can and literally said he will

Isn't it the same for Mori when he said i want both since he isn't Omnipotent in the world like in Paradise?
What? I don't get what you tried to say.

You're over complicating simple stuff. People who achieve Nirvana "end up in paradise" and Mori is confirmed to still be in a state of Nirvana in the epilogue era and that it allows him to fix all of the problems of his friend if he wanted to. Mori also says he will enter paradise when he wants to and Xuanzang approves.

Mori not ascending to Paradise would go directly against the extremely important narrative of "paradise isn't achieved through sacrifice but through everyone's happiness". Mori ascending to paradise is the only logical conclusion consistent with multiple statements that he's going to do it as well as the overall narrative, and the idea that he wouldn't is only based on an extremely vague headcanon about Xuanzangs "final goodbye" which directly contradicts actual known information.
But i don't know if we can trust both, like Xuanzang also said Paradise is the Timeline
Not really, Xuanzang said the timeline (the tablets) are IN the paradise not the paradise itself.
