Nah not that guy

It's not going to be for a few years at least, and when it is, I'll make sure to not say poorly formatted stuff like that comment again."On the Many, Many, Many Incoherences of "On The Many, Many Incoherences of Deleting SCP"". We'll make it an annual event. I can even copypasta that "This will just cement SCP's deletion on this site" comment.
It was this shitMy interest is in still having it on the wiki, and that removing it sets a dangerous precedent for the future with, again, just how much the public's perception of powerscaling has shifted. I can also speak from experience when I say that this change is validating some of the most annoying people in the versus community.
For versus debating, this deletion will basically mean the end of any sort of collaborative or fan content being taken seriously in versus, no matter where we put the pages. Doomsday vs 682 appearing on the Death Battle Cast recently is the only reason this isn't causing even MORE damage.
All the archival does is help keep accurate information available to people. All it does is keep the corpse in a pretty little refrigerated casket like Walt Disney. The profiles won't get updated, and if they do it won't be under even a quarter of the scrutiny.
A beautiful, wonderful series with countless amazing ideas and concepts will only ever be known in scaling communities as "The series made to win debates" or "The series so overpowered it got removed from VSBW", all because we deleted it due to less than 0.1% of it's content. A series who's only crime is having less than a dozen spiteful as hell writers.
Removing SCP from this wiki won't save SCP's reputation, it'll just further enforce it as the Suggsverse-tier powerscaling brainrot it never was.
SAO fans:SCP goons are really the most masochistic people I have ever seen. No other fanbase can see so much disdain for their verse, that a non neglligible amount of people agreeing with the deletion have clearly done so out of spite, and still wanna fight tooth and nail to revert the deletion.
Vahalli let it go, its finished
These weren't his failures as he didn't even make them and his arguments would be outside the scope of these CRTs. This one would probably be considered his failure.Changes are not brought by letting go. The failures Ultima experienced before this one succeeded speak for themselves.
FAX MANAGER ESQUIRE!Oh the many, many inconsistencies of why I feel like trying to swoop in after it was agreed to delete the verse and say I"ll save it" is just ???
(Seriously I was against the deletion, but this is just being a sore loser. We took the L, we should just focus on moving all the stuff to Alt wiki and then actually delete the verseor procrastinate on deletion since it is working so far)
No offense to that guy, but his arguments came off as very desperate. It was this shit
I share the sentiment as well…While I (insanely obviously) don't agree with those who pursued keeping SCP, one does sympathize with the tragedy of potentially losing all those many hours of work. People like Hl3 and Smashor put in a shitload of labor in the profiles and scaling and CRTs. There ought to be no disrespect towards them wanting to keep it here, where they feel it belongs, regardless of the overwhelming majority in favor of removing 'em.
If we returned to the days of people wanting to misguidedly delete D&D (my own verse, for the unenlightened), I'd probably do the same, and I suspect most others would in their shoes, too. No shame in fighting to the last.
VSBW is made fun of as the largest community of powerscalers. Random individuals take potshots at it for any number of reasons, anything they could conjure that they disagree with. In a way, VSBW is "The Man", a huge collective that tries to lay down plainly what they think should be so- many lonesome powerscalers believe you have to come to your own conclusions, and any argument conjured by someone other than yourself is valueless, hence a disconnect in ideologies, and many of them are not so polite as we.I was originally in favor of this but I've seen a few instances of people making fun of VSBW on places not even related to powerscaling for removing SCP, the discussions made me realize that this doesn't really matter and that seperating SCP just makes things more confusing for no reason
