I was waiting for the finale to drop some soild feats to do Homelander vs Captain Celebrity.
But at this point CC just flicks his head off unless you give him the "Possibly 800 ton" rating. Even then the lifting strength gap is also insane, so CC can just choke his windpipe with two fingers.

CC can fly too. Plus unironically is the worst matchup for Heat vision since his barrier is highly heat and cold resistant. Explosions don't even singe his clothes.

i dont find it advantageous, i just look at product good/product bad, i would take whatever the video was regardless of how it was conceived over ‘burnt carpet’ any day, and clearly most people agree that dont have “wholesome reddit chungus” brain and just think ai is bad because of what it represents. nobody cares what it represents, just make better sh** if its such a problem. not gonna sit here and make excuses for a gajillion dollar company like amazon, and hacks like kripke

You dont care when the product caused so much environment damage,instead of the original who didn't even cause half as much?
And besides the environment problems AI is making hard work meaningless,it makes us lazy and dependent on things that we should depend on.
It would take hundreds of hours to make a similar video like the one you sent without AI.Yet with AI you type in a few prompts waste tons of natural resources and produce slop.
It just mocks the people who actually work hard to make similar products.

I would take the geniune effort of the crew over AI slop anyday. The actors put in work even if the direction wasn't grand. The costumes, the cg, the props and make up, they missed in the scale true, but what they wanted to execute was still good looking.
The cinematography and the music. Efforts of real people. Not copied and generated footage of an algorithm.

Besides that, hypothetically do you guys think the military had contingency for Homelander ? I mean world wide.
It makes sense for them to have one. Even if Homie didn't go all Supreme leader, Vought was still a risk and Homelander is their Strongest asset.
And for other big countries it obviously makes sense to make counters to Homelander since he is the strongest US asset.

I feel like, surely the military could beat Homelander. Supes have plenty of weaknesses to take advantage of. Hearing, uranium, zinc. He would cause immense destruction. But they’d win eventually

Oh for sure, he has feats and statements on the Mach 1.5/1.6 range
Considering factors like Homelander's flight here not being shown as blurs like he ALWAYS does, even on the same episode, plus the fight already having questionable scalings, yeah, no. Also, Homelander blitzed Soldier Boy with his flight during their fight, HL's flight speed is meant to be far above his combat speed (Like when chasing A-Train).
When the speedster is Transonic, it happens.
Besides Butcher's random power up, I liked it. Would've preferred the scale of the fight when I little bit higher, but it was good. Also Kimiko should have participated more.

make better products then? its not my job as the consumer to care about the hard work put into something, especially when the result is lower than expectation

The point isnt the quality of the product,and even that is subjective.Because the boys writers didn't please you doesn't mean you can dunk on them and ignore their work just so you can praise something that was made by prompts.
You aren't just going against the quality of the product,but you disregard the hard work and thought behind it.You are some grade S consumer.
The hard work is what matters,and if people can just make what they want without any hard work then every product loses its value.This is the cause behind the increased unemployment rate and youre actively supporting it because "you dont like the product".

I mean ive given reasons on why Butcher isn't that powered up as you think,but yeah.Kimiko not joining is expected as she pretty much has one role in the fight and we know that she pales in comparison to Butcher in stats.She genuinely just gets carried by her regeneration thats her whole supe kit.

Butcher doesn't even have many anti feats,only against Bombsight and that can just be PIS.
The point is that Kimiko gets stat gapped by both Ryan,Butcher and Homie,so her joining the fight more properly could harm her and render her unable to use her blast.

Given how dumb they are probably not. I mean the CIA didn't even once think of infiltrating Vought and making a Superteam of Temp V which Starlight could do with a pretty obvious disguise. However, they should have had one but the FBSA implied that his eventual rampage would only cost thousands of live before he stopped (whether that meant put down or just decided to chill is unknown)
Given his feats in the show a simple MOP to the face or MOAB would probably do him in. Even high tier supes like Stormfront and such didn't have a Major effect on WW2. Supes don't change the Russo Ukrainian war drastically. They get mogged by IRL Military ngl.

Feats aside, the narrative clearly implies he is beyond conventional weapons (plus good luck hitting a supersonic human sized target with a missile.) Also they don't really need to infiltrate Vought to get Temp V.
Stan was pitching to sell Temp V to US military anyway. Hell this could have easily been a nice plot point for Season 5 with the military sending in a team of Temp V soldiers to take out Homelander and it going horribly wrong. But that's not what Clara would have wanted.

There are multiple ways to get around this. For starters he won't be flying all the time. When he eventually stops you can hit him then. Or you can lure him to a remote place and detonate the bomb. Homelander has shown he needs to concentrate on something to use his enhanced senses, they are not passively on, if he doesn't know the bomb is coming, it will hit him. If this doesn't work then an ICBM with a small nuclear payload, detonating even 50 meters from vaporises him.
If by narrative you mean vought propaganda. There are only 3 statements I remember for him requiring a nuke to kill, Stillwell's which has been disproved and the Neutron bomb statement by Stan Edgar which was referring to SB's radiation powers. Only Butcher's statements of requiring a H-Bomb to kill Sb still stands uncontradicted. If by conventional you mean small arms and high calibre rounds and low yield explosives then yes.What I will say is that narrative wise, Homelander is supposed to be overhyped and less than he is sought after. At least that's what the show pivoted to when trying to parody Trump, all of a sudden characters who Homelander was so supposed to be able to no-diff and broke their hands from catching buses could given him a run for his money.

You dont realise that AI products go against human contribution.Human contribution is what matters,if we keep praising AI then characteristics like talent and hard work will lose their value.
