The Boys discussion thread

Been wondering, isn't V1 an outdated and inferior product? Isn't it possible it just nerfed Homelander?

Sadly tho we never will get a confirmation.
It's inferior in that it is less likely to work, but the successes are more likely to be powerful (2 out of the 6 being top tiers, and 1 other being a high tier).

Def not the case. Its inferior because its way more deadly than regular V,theres a reason on why it had to be covered up.

Is Homelanders entire notable matchups section gonna be deleted? S5 gave his heat vision insane range and way faster speed (which should work in speed equal)
Homelander's heat vision has always blitzed characters in his level, it just was never indexed so it wasn't considered a factor in fights

But with combat speed downgrade, flight speed revision and heat vision upgrades, yeah, his match ups should be removed or at least revisited.

Also, on the topic of V-One, I think Homelander's scene with his shooting heat vision at the sky was just for dramatic effect, but it could have been his reaction to just having it on his system. V injection on teens and adults was shown to be pretty painful, can't imagine something far more volatile like V1.

Why would I do that? You are entitled to your opinion. 🙏
This forum has mad erections for correcting people to be on topic rather than stray from the purpose of the thread, unless of course that's restricted to CRTs that are getting monitored and decided on by moderators. And then there's the general rule you set of not delving into politics, which, AI has plenty of political implications.

Cough cough Invincible cough
Literally not true with Invincible at all. It's shown that Viltrumites do not need to accelerate much at all. Look at the Mark flying to the moon feats, for example. Smart atoms help with this, but Thragg can completely blitz from a still position

Now given this is a thread for The Boys, figured I'd say this... According to some people I associate with, Homelander's 8-B - City Block calculation done by Arthur Nando is debunkable to Large Building level since the calculation apparently uses the diameter of the explosion in place of the radius when it shouldn't..? I'm not too familiar on the specifics. The calc was generally hard to read and only reason someone figured this out is because they followed the method and steps in the calculation. Not trying to make a debunk because I have no calculation expertise (I'm low to decent), just felt it was worth mentioning

NO feats, NO consistent scaling, and a BILLION anti-feats for hypersonic straight to Vought.

Jensen is gonna be goated, i might check out the first episode and decide whether to keep watching. Season 5 has made me fearful of any "VCU" (dumbass name) Project.
If VCU is a dumbass name, then so is MCU, DCU, DCEU, and any other 'CU's. Just because it's not as popular don't mean the big c#nts are any less stupid then

Also may I request some you ask some moderators to review a couple CRTs related to FNAF? Because I'm f#cking starving and so is the FNAF scaling community on VSBW like look at the state of us 💔💔

Mark flying to the moon is Relativistic. His speed is scaled to 30 million times light speed.

No he does not accelerate that fast.

Just more volatile. The only thing that makes v2 superior i that it doesn't kill like 99% of the subjects. It only kills like 40% I think. If two identical people took v1 and v2, the one that took v1 would have a higher chance of dying a horrible death. But the powers he receives have a higher chance of being stronger.

Can't believe the shit that gave Homelander laser eyes, x-ray vision, superhuman physicals and the ability to fly, is the same shit that gave Love Sausage a sentient penis lmaoooo

I was giving an example of Mark immediately hitting his top speed in season 1, which was relativistic. If Mark can instantly reach his top speed in season 1, are you saying it just caps at relativistic for his instant speed? It should be the same case.

TBF Homelander is an Odessa baby. Although the whole thing about Supes gaining, practically useless powers is something interesting I'd like to be explored. In fact it was in Diabolical with supes who got really unfavourable powers.

That still means they could've gotten anything from the V

Obviously the part about unique solutions refers to their individual power sets, but the fact that a gunrunner suggests that it's difficult to even incapacitate them implies they're commonly at least highly resistant to small-arms.
As with all things and statements in S1 this is contradicted pretty quickly later on. As we see later on there are supes with extremely poor durability and power sets that don't require esoteric way to defeat such as Mesmer and Love sausage. Sheline too as well.

Yes. I apologise for getting out of hand recently. 🙏

Well, I have bad conscience for using A.I., but I sometimes need to use it to get sufficiently thorough answers to my questions, or to generate illustrations for my story, although I recognise it as a massive threat.

However, I was referring to when I went out of hand about other topics earlier in this discussion thread. 🙏

Okay, that's cool, anyway

In the TV series, is there evidence for acceleration so fast as to reach MFtl+ speeds? Like, in the comics there are things like Mark surpassing the speed of the fastest coalition ship while leaving it, or Allen dodging the Viltrumite cruiser, but those feats were altered in the series. And while Mark crossing part of the solar system in seconds in episode 8 after leaving the coalition ship is a very good MFtl feat, it's far from Omni Man's feat. But I might be forgetting some.

Which threads do you need reviewed? Isn't FNAF a low-tier verse that doesn't need a lot of revisions? 🙏

Kaboom

(We had someone from calc group say what to do but NEVER GAVE HIS VOTE 😭)

I have handled it, but this is an exception, not a rule. I usually have to reserve pinging for very important content revision threads. 🙏

You should probably edit that into the messages so people not that not just anybody can do that 😭

I have written it on the top of my forum message wall. 🙏
