Unless the character has extremely high regeneration, like Low-High or Mid-High, stronger opponents can turn them into blood mist if their durability is too low. Having better durability is usually better imo.

That'd make more sense with the parasite powers too. We already saw the parasite can just open and close his chest pretty easily.
Squishy Butcher with regen + durable tentacles would be ideal imo. Durable Butcher with squishy tentacles kinda takes away the uniqueness of his powers

Sage got arrogant thinking the video would destroy any and all growth in the relationship between SB and HL because she's so confident in her belief of how people think and act. Im 99% sure she's dead as **** next episode, especially now that HL knows she crossed her. I feel like The Boys crew showed themselves to be more stupid considering they might've had a chance to kill homelander already if kimiko and starlight had realized and communicated their lack of desire for V1 a bit earlier.
Anyways, it seems like at this point the only realistic or sensible way they can kill off homelander is if Marie rips the V1 out of his bloodstream, which for one, seems a little beyond her capabilities, and secondly it would feel like really really poor writing to have a character who hadn't appeared all season and was generally relegated to the spinoff to suddenly come in and be the one to save the day.
Anyways, it seems like at this point the only realistic or sensible way they can kill off homelander is if Marie rips the V1 out of his bloodstream, which for one, seems a little beyond her capabilities, and secondly it would feel like really really poor writing to have a character who hadn't appeared all season and was generally relegated to the spinoff to suddenly come in and be the one to save the day.

It's not JUST an ego thing.
However, I think, from what I've seen she has trouble predicting how certain people will FEEL. Like, when she was growing up, people didn't understand her, and because of that, the opposite has also applied, to an extent, and she doesn't understand certain factors that will make people act erratically. Or, to put it in other words, many people underestimated how smart she was and now she's underestimating how stupid Soldier Boy is. Both of were using the other, and I think they developed a certain degree of mutual respect, so when he did some dumb shit that's gonna get millions of people killed, that was pretty surprising for everyone.
Also, I'm ngl, she probably didn't predict that Legend would tell Homelander a random fact about a commercial he saw and Homelander would react to it, there's no way. She probably knew there WAS a tracker, but that would be crazy.

If we're talking purely physicals, I think him and Soldier Boy are even, SB just has more skill or whatever. I'd put Maeve up there too if it weren't for the fact that she mainly held her own because Homelander was so ass at fighting compared to her.

My takeaways from this episode:
Sister Sage is such a terribly written character. Her whole personality is "I predicted that." "People are so predictable." but never actually showing how she comes to any of her conclusions about anything or anyone. And now, when it matters the most, and literally anyone with 80 IQ could've seen it coming, she flops on the most basic prediction ever despite having a literal mind reader give her elite comms. What a joke, dude. I never liked her in the first place, but this is seriously sad.
Why can't we have a single smart character in this show?

Dude homelander can control the intensity of his beams. He was 100% holding back the entire scene with Stormfront and she did not no sell it either as she got a third degree burn the finale wouldn't even make any sense if that was the case. The literal same goes goes Neuman lmao do you seriously think homelander was trying to kill her on live television? He was just trying to expose her powers. Cancer butcher is the only one where I'm convinced he wasn't holding back and even that isn't a no sell at all.

Ok, I was talking about this yesterday, but an attack coming in at the speed of sound that produces enough force to send you flying is NOT a weak power.
For the record, the balls thing is just a bit about old dudes that's been around for a couple centuries but doesn't come up that often because we don't talk about senior citizen testicles that much. For instance, I remember a comic with a bit playing off that where someone was like "where do you think grandfather clocks got their name?" and yknow it went as expected.

YES! You get it. I didn't bring it up because I was just talking generally, but Supes ARE weak to many sound attacks due to their hearing, and sound ALREADY has some disorienting capabilities.

Oh father’s sound also could potentially be giving Homelander his hallucinations. Of course, I don’t think that’s confirmed. But if it is, then that mean he’s definitely one of the stronger supes, and him beating starlight entirely makes sense

It's baffling how bad the writing quality is, just to promote a spin off.

Can someone calculate two destructive feats from episode 6? I'm talking about scenes there bombsight flew through a concrete ceiling and destroyed a concrete structure upon landing, and bombsight formed a crater in the ground upon landing. I think it will be a good supporting 9-A/8-C feats.

No, if they had it, Frenchie could probably replicate it. The only reason Sage wasn't succeeding in making it was she didn't have a sample.
All else aside, that's not what he says. He says she was another Supe, since he thinks they wouldn't know who she was, because he's talking to like, Butcher and Hughie, not anyone he'd really be emptying the contents of his heart to. But what he says after that is "Man, was she a firecracker." Now, in the way he uses it, that's meant to be a compliment, and it's not just "does sex good," it refers to someone having a strong, "fiery" personality, which the speaker enjoys. Nowhere does that say "I only cared about this person for sex."

Yeah sure. still doesn't matter because Crimson countess exists. It's clearly a retcon no matter how many pages and books you write defending it. Soldier would be looking for Liberty if she was the love of his life, rather than Crimson countess. Instead she is a throwaway reference to show that these two character attended previous herogasms.

I think this statement (which comes from a deleted scene) should no longer be used on her page, because Maeve clearly wasn't the second most powerful Supe on Earth, given that there was Rock Hard and Bombsight.

I think that's because HV has like "two modes"
Pure heat version, with little to no force behind it.
Then there's the concussive one, mainly use to push or destroy stuff and people, though it does have some heat.
I mean, while it kinda suffers retroactively, it would still apply towards the supes known at S1.
