Unironically a really good feat that’s unfortunately almost 100% an outlier.

We'll see in the season, but I doubt A-train being faster than bullets will be an outlier. Mostly considering an entire scene (it looks like) being dedicated, and the possibility of getting faster. We even have statements saying he was faster than bullets as a kid, so maybe it's like early CW flash, where we are getting conflicting readings of speed despite feats and some statements.

It’s not that he’s faster than bullets, it’s that he completely statues them. We’ve seen his peak even on V at right above Supersonic, meanwhile this would be like, Mach 4000, which is so far above literally every feat in the series it’s laughable.

Even then you can still argue it away based on whether they portray it as his peak speed or getting different feats for the top tiers. Like I said we'll see it looks like he's getting a FOX quicksilver like scene so I'm excited for it.

At minimum even if the fight doesn’t go well, Butcher will get a durability upgrade because he’s bulletproof now. I’m wondering how much stronger his tentacles are than his base.

I think it’s not impossible, assuming he does get actually get a frozen bullet-time feat. We know supes powers can reach new levels under the right circumstances. Like Marie boosted her powers to save her sister after she died. It could be a case of training plus motivation. Idk, I’m going to wait until the Season comes out first.

He was bulletproof in S4, it's that the feat (at least on my part) wasn't clear because the camera angle implied the agent shot the tentaclrs and not Butcher. But it makes sense Butcher gets some super durability.

The Boys Verse Debunk: Calc Issue
So, this calculation was used to upgrade the Boys verse using a equation from this thread. However, one of the CGM explicitly said that new formula should only be used for mechanical scientific nukes - NOT explosions from substances analogous to nuclear weapons. So, no the new equation cannot...

He displayed basic punches which were exaggerated to the highest possible interpretation by fans, like every minutiae feat in the series that collapses upon actual scrutiny, which is why MCB is getting throttled yet again.

To be fair, Tighten is a worse version of Homelander in terms of skill, and intelligence. Not saying Homelander is a genius, but Tighten has even less experience against superhumans than Homelander.
Also he’s a good counter against Tighten because he relies on his laser vision. Tighten doesn’t have enough resistance to heat to survive a direct hit.

You are right, I was too charitable there, they have zero indication of any formally trained combat form whatsoever barring maybe Butcher who is displayed as a very basic brawler.

Watching it right now and I am a bit confused.
There is a scene where Homelander hits Stormfront with his eye lasers but could not really damage her. Smehow his son, when he was in full rage, almost killed her and removed her legs and arms. Does this mean that his enraged son is stronger than Homelander or has more potential? Or was Homelander just holding back

If you're talking about the sex scene with Stormfront, Homelander shown several times that he can use bigger lasers, and his goal in this scene is to give Stormfront pleasure, not to kill her. So yes, he's holding back.

Soldier Boy's whole career is fake, this was a key plot point. Maeve's only close quarters showing is a staged video of defeating some regular men. Butcher was so much weaker he could barely pin Homelander down 3 vs 1. Homelander has never thrown a punch like a martial artist, has no indication of formal training, and is consistently shown to coast on raw strength, it keeps getting rejected for a reason.

His career as a soldier is fake, yes, but not his training. He joined the army before being chosen by Vought to administer the V. You only need to see how skilled he is with a gun and a knife to prove it.
We don't care because we know she was top 1 at Godolkin University where the Supes regularly train in combat against other Supes, as we can see from episode 1 of Gen V. Also, the fact that she didn't one-shot these regular men proves that she was holding back enough to be able to train in H2H.
He's not "so much weaker" no, otherwise he wouldn't have lasted so long against Homelander in Herogasm or against Soldier Boy.
Homelander only managed to break free from Butcher, Soldier, and Hughie because he was in Rage Power.
That's not a good argument at all; otherwise, you could also remove Weapon Mastery for the characters from Game of Thrones because they fight badly since the actors aren't HEMA fighters.

Yes, and the reason is because he's Homelander.
He's a man-child and bully who uses his superior strength to intimidate others, and he's one of the most hated fictional characters for that reason.
So, imagining that he has any fighting skill is unimaginable and hard for many to accept... at least it used to be, because as we can see in his versus threads or even on some other VS Debating sites/forums, quite a few people now admit that yes, Homelander does have H2H skill.

His performance against the Nicaraguan troops was to gracelessly bash them around, illustrating how undisciplined he was despite his role. His own (equally unprofessional) team outmaneuvered him despite a power gap where one or two hits ended in brain damage.
You should care about the lack of evidence that she faced any students with melee combat powers, or that she didn't just brute force her way through training by being the 2nd strongest supe of the time. Vague inferences all the way down.
Butcher matching his heat vision for a few seconds visibly pushed his absolute limits. Soldier Boy held him off less than a minute before being overpowered in a near-fatal choke hold. BCL Red is the sole reason Homelander was in any mortal danger.

You just admitted why his skill is not real. He does not need it when everyone in the setting is beneath him. If someone equally strong with any fisticuffs artistry fought him he would lose.

You're not talking about weapons and H2H skills at all, just discipline and strategy. He didn't have a military career, he never fought on the battlefield, but he still received military training and knows how to use weapons. You're not contradicting anything.

Gen V clearly shows that the students train and fight each other in H2H, and Maeve only has melee combat power, no other powers like hax
Except there's no proof that the difference between Pre-S3 Maeve and the other Supes is significant, which is why she's 9-A like most of the other Supes. Stormfront can harm Maeve, and Stormfront got her ass kicked by Starlight, Kimiko, and Maeve, the latter not dealing significantly more damage to Stormfront compared to Starlight and Kimiko.
They held their own against him for several seconds, exchanging blows without being one-shotted or significantly damaged.
They are weaker, but not "that much weaker," especially since it's stated several times that Soldier Boy is "nearly as strong" as Homelander and gave him a bruise, and Maeve (who is weaker than Soldier Boy) made him bleed.
The AP gap between them and Homelander is smaller than between an average human and a professional heavyweight boxer.
Are you deliberately ignoring my point? I'm saying that using the argument "Homelander doesn't fight like a martial artist/professional fighter" doesn't work because the actor isn't a fighter IRL.
Whether he needs it or not doesn't mean he doesn't have it. I'm just explaining why some people don't accept that Homelander is skilled because they don't like him.

Why would he have significant training? Admitting his unusual enlistment makes it likely he skipped the normal process and was thrown on the field pumped with V, he doesn't need conventional skills as an invulnerable superhuman.
Godolkin combat training is expressly a new course introduced by Vikor, even there it's shown most supes rely on projectile abilities or other non-physical means of attack, so pummeling them is not a skill feat.
Maeve completely turned the tide against Stormfront, who had Starlight + Female on the ropes until she showed up, so hard that Stormfront had to flee. Notwithstanding that her stopping a bus with one arm early in her career was considered a legendary showing.
Yet plenty of unskilled actors convincingly play people good at fighting, curious, almost like Homelander was not designed as such a combatant.
You have reached a level of such seething to cry bias at anyone who disagrees with your echo chamber, even someone who made 1/4th of the verse's pages, just hold the L.
