As the title says, what's the biggest thing you've forgotten/left behind by accident?

Me, today I went over my cousins house with my long sleeve sweater and then I left but when I got up the street I was like "Why is it so cold all a sudden?... SHIT!" How could I forget something that I had on me.

The number 4 That's not a joke I literally forgot that the number 4 existed for a few minutes.

My backpack. Which had everything from my wallet, to my phone, to my passport in it while hopping onto a train in Japan. Luckily I ran back for it before the doors shut, but it was still a scary experience.

Also, not my largest thing, but I forgot were I put my wallet at least five times in Japan in various places (the museum, convenience store, subway e.t.c.) and was only saved by nice samaritans and police officers. I also almost left my 3DS in Japan when I dropped it into the luggage bin by accident during airport customs. I also lost my host mom's umbrella while shopping (bought her a new one later) and had to be really careful to not lose my teacher's bags while walking through Kyoto.

I'm not great at holding onto things...

To feed my hamster..

Though that was nearly 10 years ago. In more recent years, it would probably to forget to feed/water my birds (luckily they had a surplus of food and water but it still made me feel bad) or forgetting what year it was. I think the most embarrass thing was when I forgot how to spell my last name..

@Reppuzan

And I thought I was forgetful.

Oh I forgot to feed my cat and let her in for the night.

Woke up to desperate meowing from outside my window

I also forget my age most of the time... No joke I really forget how old I am ...

A copy of Sonic Unleashed for the Xbox 360 in a friend's house. He broke it by accident before I could get it back.

I forgot to bring my white shirts to college despite already been reminded by my friend as much as 3 times in the same morning to not forgot bring in an white shirts..

My phone being in my pocket when I jumped in the water two weeks ago.

@Monarch Laciel

What's a Mufti Day?

What day was it. That means I forgot a period of 24 hours.

Time >>> Space.

I forgot something bigger than the Universe.

It's a thing in Australia (and maybe elsewhere, idk). Basically a day where you don't need to wear a school uniform to school, and you can wear whatever you want, and if you do, you donate a dollar to some cause the school is supporting.

I'm sure to Americans and other places that don't have school uniforms it sounds like we're paying for something you do for free.

But I always forgot those and wore my uniform anyway, without exception

At least I saved money I guess

Oh actually I take what I said back So a few weeks ago I had to factory reset my Ps4 since the play store wasn't working

And get this I forgot to back up all of my game data

Literally everything. Gone.

1. My date of birth. Really.

2. A cheque for a rather large sum.

3. University degree certificate.

4. Left keys in unlocked car. Car and keys were still there when I returned three hours later.

5. Left phone with important contacts and documents in a cab.

6. Took laptop on a trip so I could work but forgot the charger. Did not get any work done on that trip.

7. Forgot to have breakfast on one occasion. Yup. Just straight up forgot to have breakfast even though I was feeling hungry.

@Soldier

You reminded of the fact that I left a backpack behind when my family and I were leaving San Francisco.

It was a miracle that the police found it and mailed it back to us a few months later with everything inside (medicine, umbrellas, tissues, souvenirs e.t.c.) intact.

Hah, that happened to me yesterday. Worst part is I actually made breakfast, I just forgot to eat it..

Toast

I always forget toast. It pops out of the toaster, and I forget it, and 3 hours later it's stale.

1. My phone for 2 months (like a dumbass)

2. I forgot to eat at many point

3. I had sunburn (i didn't even notice the burn to begin with)

I once forgot Ryukama was the creator of Joke Battles Wiki, and threatened to get an admin to prevent him from doing something.

I legit searched my glasses for 2 hours without realizing that they were on my nose once
...I gotta admit something similar to that happened to me before as well, I was looking for my headphones and was going crazy... They were in my ears the hole time.

Sometimes i forget what word i would say in a phrase.... i'm not joking... i really forget this stuff

...and i always keep trying to remember what word i would use... like a idiot

One time when I was walking home from school I legit forgot where I lived and as a result it took me nearly 3 hours to make a usually 20 minute walk. My mum was not happy in the slightest when I strolled up to the front door at 7 pm and then yelled at me for not answering my phone, to which I then realised I also forgot my phone and left it at school.

Forgot key to my home, can't remember where the hell I dropped it, end up breaking the door.

Ok this happened last week I went shopping and I took my nephew with me he wasn't really paying attention just playing on his 3ds. I went to the checkout I told him to sit on the benchs I paid for the food and drove back when I got back my brother said

"Ryan where's Danny"

That's when I realised I forgot my 5 year old nephew at the shops I run back to my car drove back there to find him still playing on his 3ds so far my sister hasn't found out I forgot her son
