The Batter vs Cloud Strife

Well I don't think Cloud scales to Sephy's supernova...
He's way faster but generally seems to be about as strong, so I'm siding with Cloud

The Batter and Cloud Strife both have fearsome hax, sure, and roughly the same level of destructive output (possible a slight edge to Cloud), but what deals the deal here for The Batter's win is three things:
First, his superior speed, which makes him several times faster than Cloud. This means he can dish out hits beyond Cloud's ability to react to them when up close, and even at range he'd be hard-presses to react to attacks in time. It also means that The Batter is going to have a somewhat easy time evading what Cloud throws his way.
Secondly, his (seemingly) greater versatility in power set, though this is probably off-set if Cloud is allowed most or all of his items and materia.
And finally, his Add-Ons. The Add-Ons basically multiply Cloud's disadvantages in this fight by four, and also allow for team synergy within the group as they become able to support one another and stack on stat advantages at a faster rate.
It's still a tough fight, mind, but ultimately Cloud's going to wind up on the business end of The Batter's ultimate purification. The Batter wins.
