TES things for the forum

I noticed a lot of things on TES profiles are either incorrect lore, incorrect capitalization, or just flat out wrong.

I think we should have a group of people who know the lore on TES and have decent knowledge surrounding it, as well as a mediocre cleanup on things such as powers and abilities being uncapitalized or vague, because me and some other supporters agree that TES is probably the hardest verse in existence to correctly scale.

Might be too much to ask, but a verse of this size and hard-to-scaleness needs a bit more attention than it currently gains (with only like 8 people actively working in it)

Well, there are regrettably very few people in the staff who have the knowledge or interest to work with it. Sheoth used to handle it, but he has almost entirely left the wiki.

That's the weird thing about TES... the latest games have been kinda of generic but the universe itself is so bizarre and filled with ambiguity. May very well be one of the greatest game worlds ever created, the lore too.

Well, Skyrim was a great game, and the lore is extremely complex, but I also find much of the mythology rather distasteful, so I have ambiguous feelings about it.

I generally dislike how vague the lore can be in practice, mostly I think for the same reason as you: too much emphasis on myths.

I also dislike a lot of the out of game works by MK, like C0DA and such. Because they just make Vivec into such a ******* mary sue, or rather such an author self insert. TES isn't supposed to have a "main character" but MK and many of the fans seem to treat Vivec as such.

Across the Library stories, it could be treated as so that in some there can be a main character to that one story. However overall there isnt a main character and C0DA and others tbh should stop trying to make Vivec look like the main character.
