Terraria: Shouldn't they be Dwarf Star Level in Mid Tier?

Mid Tier characters can endure multiple stars from the star cannon. And High Tier characters can make signifigantly stronger attacks

The falling stars aren't star sized, so no, it wouldn't be that tier
Isn't that why they are called "Dwarf" stars? Even then, it shouldn't matter the size of the goddamned star, it is still a bloody star whether it's large or small

Dwarf stars are celestial bodies in-between gas giants and stars, being massive enought to only cause fusion of a few elements.

The problem is that the falling stars are only a few feet big and are clearly magical in nature

Now answer my other question. Why should the size of the stars matter? They are stars nonetheless

The size of the stars matters because bigger stars require far more force to destroy than smaller stars. Some stars can be thousands of times bigger than others.

Please show me scientific evidence of this

Please show me scientific evidence of this

This doesn't even need evidence as this should be common sense

It's the equivalent of saying a homemade bomb can equal the damage of a nuke because they're both bombs

This is completely different. This involves matter and mass. Like how destroying Half the Universe is still Universal

The fact that they aren't even the size of dwarf stars proves they're not stars. That's how we've always treated stars. Or else Earthbound characters would be Dwarf Star as well.

Destroying half the universe would be rated Multi-Galaxy Level+, not Universal

Bombs absolutely do require mass and matter for a viable explosion

And Overlord already went over the universe argument.

Your only point is "That's how we've always treated stars"

not even a point tho

Umm, no, it's definitely Universal X"D

Mass? Yes. Matter? No. I'm already debunking the Universe argument, you don't need to go over that.

If they were real stars, the Earth would be gone when they land. If they were Neutron Stars, everything would be obliterated for miles. So no, they're not stars.

No its not

Half the universe is objectively only half, thus comprising of only the galaxies within it

A universe is the space time, or everything within said space time, half of it is not universal

A lot of weird star arguments recently. So basically, no. The stars in Terraria are small, holdable by a guy who gets bodied by normal zombies, and are magical in nature to the point of becoming a literal crystal of magical energy.

Even if they were "stars" in the sense of being powered by fusion and being composed of plasma, they would be small to the point that such a "star" wouldn't even be past Wall level in terms of energy.

Well thank you for using common sense unlike these other debaters

Just here to be a pedant and point out that the insanity of nuclear fusion would make them far, far above just Wall level...if they were real plasma stars, which they aren't.

@Kep

Well just raw balls of plasma would be Wall level. If they were powered by fusion they'd be much higher, even if they were small.

@Ultra

He's been arguing against you the whole time using the same arguments we have.

This entire discussion feels like talking to a conspiracy theorist...

Insert common sense

"That means nothing"

As everyone has said before. They're not the size of actual stars, acting more like meteors, they're clearly magical in nature, and destroying half a universe is not equivalent to destroying an entire freaking universe.

Exactly. What's more probable: these "stars" have the power or real stars just because they are called stars in-game (even though they don't exhibit the properties we'd expect if that were true), or they are just something different?

He made 1 previous comment. But the recent one where it hits the planet actually made sense. You guys weren't using the same arguments, you just said they were smaller therefor they were weaker. If you WERE using the same arguments then at least structure your sentence to a point where it is understandable

I'd say they are just weaker than a real star

Which is exactly what we rate them as. They're not real stars, so we have no reason to assume they are even close to real stars.
