Terminator Franchise Resurrection: Canon and stats revisions

It's time to revive this verse.

The biggest problem with the Terminator profiles is that it mixes all the films (and even comics) of the franchise, which are not all canon to each other. The Cameron timeline for example is the three James Cameron movies (Cameron did not direct Dark Fate but produced and co-wrote it, and this movie is considered as a direct sequel to Judgment Day): The Terminator (1984), Terminator 2: Judgment Day Theatrical Cut (1991), Terminator: Dark Fate (2019). Dark Fate ignores all previous films (and The Sarah Connor Chronicles show) released after T2.

Note: There are three versions of Terminator 2, the Theatrical Cut, the Special Edition and the Extended Cut. The Extended Cut and Special Edition have several more scenes, and The Extended Cut has the alternate ending where Sarah and John Connor have a peaceful life and where John becomes a senator and has kids (which easily proves that this version is not canon). The Special Edition doesn't have this ending but like the Extended Cut it also has this scene where Sarah and John reset the T-800's CPU so that it learns to become more human. This scene does not exist in the Theatrical Cut, the T-800 just explains that he learns to be more human by being around them. In Dark Fate the T-800 did not reset his CPU, he just learned to be more human by being around them for decades. This proves that the Theatrical Cut of T2 is the canon one.

What I propose is that the current profile of the T-800 (and other major characters from T1-T2) becomes exclusively that of Cameron canon version (the profiles for the other versions/timelines can be created separately. It will be a case similar to Michael Myers who has pages separated by timeline.) and that all feats/weaknesses that do not come from James Cameron's canon be removed.

Now for the Cameron timeline feats of the T-800:

The T-800's biggest feats haven't been calculated, the ones where it survives massive explosions (which also scale to its attack potency as it fought the T-1000 and Rev-9 which can harm its durability):
  • (6:10)
  • (3:50)

A calculation for speed is also necessary, here is a notable feat where the Rev-9 dodges a shotgun shot at close range:
- (1:48)
This feat is consistent with the feats and statements of the novelizations of T1 and T2:
  • The T-800 fist moves impossibly fast (7:15, page 15)
  • The machines have ultra-fast reflexes (9:04, page 99)
  • The T-1000 can measure the angle and velocity of bullets already fired towards it to actually opening itself up slightly to cushion the shock of the entry wounds https://youtu.be/fr9NLQOPWEA?si=PTThUK8KKFBNY_D9 (12:08, page 131)

Note: These novels are canon, they were written by two people who helped James Cameron with the scripts for T1 and T2, more information in this interview http://www.jamescamerononline.com/randallfrakes.htm

I haven't found any notable feats for the LS, the best I've found is the T-800 which effortlessly lifts and throws people with one hand. So at least Peak Human.

T-800, T-1000, Rev-9 and Grace scale to each other, so they have the same stats.

Also, Cyborgization must be removed from the T-800 page, the latter does not correspond to the definition of a cyborg, he is entirely a robot and the skin that has it is just used to infiltrate among humans, it's not a part of him.

Do note, all of those works are canon and official.
James Cameron only considers the Theatrical Cut canon. I specify this to prevent scenes from the extended versions from being included in the profiles (like the glitch of the T-1000 after being frozen by the nitrogen liquid which does not exist in the Theatrical Cut, so the T-1000 does not have not this weakness)

What you're proposing is that the profiles focus on a singular canon under James Cameron.
Also yes, but I talked about the canonicity of the different versions of T2 because they are all made by Cameron, so he can decide which version of his film is canon or not.

Yeah I think this works pretty well, my question is what other material counts as canon to the other timelines
I haven't seen all the Terminator films/shows/comics/novels etc. but from what I know here are the timelines:
  • T1 (Movie/Novelization) > T2 (Movie/Novelization) > Dark Fate
  • T1 (Movie) > T2 (Movie) > Rise of the Machines (Movie) > Salvation (Movie)
  • T1 (Movie) > T2 (Movie) > Sarah Connor Chronicles (Show)
  • T1 (Movie) > T2 (Movie) > T2 novel Trilogy
  • Resistance (2019 game) > T1 (Movie) > T2 (Movie)
I'm unsure about Genisys and Zero

This page may have some merit

Genisys I think is its own thing entirely; it overrides basically the entire series including the original two. I do think we could scale Pops to the T800’s feats from the first movie since he fights that younger Arnold in the same scene but thats it

So itd be

Original Timeline (T1, T2, T3, Salvation, probably that Salvation prequel)

Cameron Timeline (T1, T2, Dark Fate)

Chronicles Timeline (T1, T2, Chronicles)

Genisys (Literally just Genisys)

My question is how does Resistance tie in

Personally, I see Genisys as also taking place after the first 2, arguably ever after 3. It seems like they went back in time again as Skynet targeted a teenage Sarah a 2nd time after the T1 example was thwarted, but that it was stopped again by Pops. The plot of Genisys is more or less Skynet did a repeated attempt to change history.
