The evidence doesn't get more clear cut than that. Was it Super Perfect Cell or just Perfect Cell?

We see Cell pointing to his head with yellow aura, implying heavily that is Super Perfect Cell

I see. I propose that:
- God Tiers (Devil Jin, True Devil Kazuya, Akuma, etc.) in Tekken somewhat scale above Super Perfect Cell (regular Devil Jin fought and almost won against Super Perfect Cell, and the true devil form increases power tenfold, which would have made Jin strong enough to beat him)
- Top Tiers scale to Super Perfect Cell (Self explanatory, as Devil Jin fought and closely matched Cell)
- Upper Tiers scale above Perfect Cell (Upper Tiers aren't far behind Top Tiers, meaning that they wouldn't be strong enough to defeat or contend with Super Perfect Cell, but should be more than enough for Perfect Cell)
- Mid Tiers scale to Perfect Cell (same logic as Top Tier and Upper Tier scaling)
- Low Tiers scale to either Imperfect or Semi-Perfect Cell. I'm still up in the air about this one.

Agreed, low tiers also should be above imperfect, but below semi perfect, because they all can compete against his weakest form with ease

I think this translation from Sanskrit is perfect, @Qliphoth_Bacikal can confirm, they're an expert on this.
