Alright so since idrc if they get upgrade or not (and even if they do manage to get that ridiculous AP bump then we would just have them fight 45% Deku), I will give my arguments.
Deku slaps tf out of them really, really bad.
They are all better than him in straight trained combat, on top of having weapons, but that doesn’t mean much given his own advantages.
Deku’s AP is >>1.66 mT while they are all baseline. It should be noted that they struggled to and were going to fail at a 1v4 against a 2.38 mT character (Cinder). So Deku is comparable in strength to someone that was already beating them around and could heavily damage them.
Deku’s LS is similarly comparable to Penny’s, being far higher than 2.12e10 vs her 4.5e10. It took not only all of Team RWBY, but JNPR and Emerald to restrain Penny with this LS. So not only can Deku escape any grapple they attempt on him, but he can restrain them all with Blackwhip. This is very bad for them.
So far, we have someone as strong as a Maiden fighting Team RWBY, he’s just less skilled in straight cqc. It gets worse from here because he has abilities that simply makes fighting him ridiculously hard.
Analytical Prediction smacks the entire team. Deku can track people that are FTE to him, that he can’t even see, that are initially far higher than his prediction abilities and can even reverse predict people predicting him. There isn’t nearly any skill whatsoever in the RWBY cast that compares to his predictions, so it would be already hard to defeat him when he adapts to and predicts all of their movements, especially when that can easily lead to them getting kicked away or restrained.
Now take all of that, and add his permanently active precognition Danger Sense. Ruby’s Semblance, which makes her the fastest, and even Blake’s clones, are basically irrelevant when he can always tell where they are, when they are attacking and from where.
So he’s hard to hit, hits harder than any of them and can win just by restraining them.
Now let’s go over his actual tactics.
Range wise, he can break them down his massive AoE Air Force attacks that can take up entire city blocks. He would probably only save this in response to being caught in one of their team attacks or Weiss’s glyphs/summons. This easily breaks any formation they can come up with since all it takes is a flick of his arms or leg to hit them all and practically decimate the area around them.
Float means he has mobility advantage, even over Weiss and her platforms. Only person that can keep up with him is Ruby due to her speed amp, anyone else only has worse versions of his own combined mobility. Blake’s swinging is matched and surpassed by Blackwhip, Yang’s propulsion is bad compared to his True Flight and Weiss is stuck playing support less he completely stomp her out due to her more magelike fighting style.
Smokescreen works in brief spurts as, while Aura CAN be used to sense around you, none of the girls have used it like that even when it would be useful. So without a clear visual of him, even if they get rid of it, Deku can easily have already set something up himself in the time they’re trying to adapt to it.
Fa Jin one shots them. Even a non 5x amp would be enough to shatter their Aura’s and send them reeling. He can easily store this up while dodging their attacks, leading him to sporadically be able to speed over and severely damage on of them on a whim. Combine this with Float and Blackwhip and there’s really not much they can do to get to him before he stores enough to massively break down one of them.
Mid Gauntlets and Iron Soles are High 6-C shields that none of them can get through, so bladed weaponry gets blocked and anyone that connects with him for too long gets wrapped up in Blackwhip and kicked down.
So yeah, RWBY do not have the abilities necessary to take Deku down. Blake’s Clones get read, Ruby’s speed gets predicted, Yang probably won’t even get a chance to use her Semblance that won’t result in her getting dodged by his precog and Weiss is the only person really able to pressure him due to summons and glyphs.
Even Weiss’s time dilation glyph won’t do much since it’s only a (going by calcs) slightly over 2x amp, which Deku would rapidly adapt to given that’s no where near enough to handle his Prediction which works on FTE speed to him or his Danger Sense.
Deku probably goes for Weiss first honestly which takes away a lot of Team RWBY’s versatility. No one can really stop him, so it’s just a brawl where Deku realizes all their skills, predicts their abilities, protects himself with Precog and his armor, then activates go-mode and starts beating them down.
