Team Fortress General Discussion

for the next ctr for the verse (i still have to work on some stuff about it) i wanted to add these calcs:

ATTACK POTENCY/DURABILITY

Another big boom - 3,6 tons of tnt (Large building level)

Heavy stops a train (conservative end) - 6.46 tons of tnt (Large building level) (EVALUATED)

Cow mangler inverse square law - 65.27 tons of tnt to 1.31 Kilotons kilotons of tnt (city block level+ up to Small town level)

Scout moves the fake Ayer's Rock (conservative end) - 146,71 tons of tnt (Multi city block level) (EVALUATED)

The bread monster makes a big ahh hole in the ground - 114.28987697 to 354.4 tons of tnt (multi city block level) (invalid)

Saxton causes an eruption as the new CEO of hell - 5.22034 Kilotons (Small Town level+) (EVALUATED)

This one scales because Hale as he says that he "beat the hell out of the devil", same devil who has shown to have enviormental manipulation over hell.
Hale gained other abilities like fire manipulation, possible immortality (as he calls the mercs mortals in the voiceline) and teleportation.
Hale is also known for his love for explosions or explosive entraces.

So on my opinion, Hale after willingly teleporting to the mercs (as the voicelines suggest) he decided to cause an explosion (after even making a count down for it as the vulcano starts to have instability only when Hale starts to count down) for a more epic entrace.

Subatomic disintegration (lesser volumes) - 162.6 Kilotons to 99.33 megatons (Large town level up to City Level+) (EVALUATED)

Subatomic disintegration (bigger volumes) - 178.43 Kilotons to 163.5128327 megatons (Large town level up to Mountain level) (EVALUATED)

SPEED

Cowmangler 5000 speed - mach 29.154 (High hypersonic)

LIFTING STRENGHT

Soldier jumps with a shit ton of ghear on him - 1.67 up to 3.35 Metric Tons (Class 5)

Scout ripping spy arm off - 11.72673645 Metric Tons (Class 25) (NOT CALC)

Soldier steals someone spine - 101.971621 Metric Tons (Class K) (NOT CALC)

Heavy stops a train - 30475.442684 Kilograms (Class M) (EVALUATED)

Scout moves the fake Ayer's Rock - 133969760.41 Kilograms (Class G) (EVALUATED)

Just saw this, mebbe I'll hold off on reworking Saxton...

@Rex_Eckles But still: This is an official note, those profiles are in bad shape and need justifications and references pronto. And change Reactions to Combat speed, my god, this isn't 2018 anymore, we're allowed to mention Combat Speed on the profiles.

Alright, later.

Remember that this sort of thing needs a CRT, I am no admin who can tell you that you can do X

Here's what i did so far:
  • Added references and sources to what was already written (with that also more clarification to why he scales to the payloads)
  • Deleted all that ugly blue text and transfered all into citation
  • More more clarification on the Note pages for the usage of multipliers and some other stuff relative to the scaling
Can i add some imgs for Hale? wanted to add that where he jumped off a plane and the final one that we got in the last tf2 comic

Show me the images.

Basically outside of properly explaining the scaling here, the only thing left to do is to justify Hale's PnA, but that needs a whole ass CRT

If you want to add some proposals there's a ctr going on for the verse

I'm now working on re-justifying scaling for the mercs.

Things for TF2 Merc scaling are probably gonna end up like this: Featless Mercs, aka only fights BLU and Robots: Scout/Pyro/Medic/Engi/Sniper<Soldier (overpowers Scout)/Spy (Nearly floors Scout with a slap)/Demoman (Directly comparable to Soldier since he and Soldier had a rivalry for a bit there IIRC)<Heavy (Literally called the strongest man on his team and can wrestle briefly with Saxton, the only one I'd consider keeping his at most Saxton rating.)

Some good blogs arguing for sub-realistic tf2 has came out and they provide good arguments and calcs for it
