Would Tanjiro know for sure Yuta is a human? He literally radiates and oozes negative emotions, and his passive aura freaks people the **** out just from walking into a room.

Plus Cursed Spirits in general (Which includes Rika) radiate a fear-inducing aura that renders people unable to move. Which should remind Tanjiro of Battle Spirit from a Demon (Which he resists, so he'll be fine from that). Not to mention Yuta's techniques will resemble Blood Demon Arts more than a Breathing Style. Plus Yuta can also regenerate with RCT, which resembles the healing of a Demon. Something humans can't do in KNY.

So Tanjiro mistaking Yuta for a Demon is fully a possibility imo.

Can sense he is not a demon. Same difference though. Or did we fix that on profiles. Before it read really awkwardly. I personally dont see enough proof he can sense humans. Only that he can tell someone is not a demon but again same difference in this case.

Not really, against geto he had unlimited copy and wasnt limited to 5 mins. Against yuji and in sendai he didnt use it as a first move, against sukuna he needed to save his his 5 mins for going inside gojo.

Buddy they legit had a total of 2 interactions. 1 from final selection, and the second one is literally that fight. He doesnt know anything about Genya being capable of demonifying himself. He instantly knew he wasnt an actual Demon despite having every single property as one.
