TABS, TABG AND TABZ GD Thread

So scaling to Thor we have:
  • Mammoth
  • King
  • Zeus
  • Minotaur
  • Da Vinci Tank
  • Pirate Queen
  • Reaper
  • Super Boxer
  • Super Peasant
  • Dark Peasant
  • Sacred Elephant (not the rider)
  • Chronomancer (doesn't seem to deal damage?)
  • Void Monarch
  • Ice Giant
  • Artemis
  • Tree Giant
  • Lady Red Jade
  • Samurai Giant
  • Blackbeard
  • Skeleton Giant
Weird cases:
  • Dragon (Doesn't really contain its pilot like the Tank does, so it can be rendered null by the 9-B being killed)
  • Wheelbarrow (See above)
  • Longship (See above)

  • Jarl (Worse stats than Zeus or Thor, by a good amount; I'm thinking "At least 9-B, possibly 8-B")

Seems to be everyone. I tried to look at the nuance of each unit but there's a lot so lmk if something here seems weird.
Was this supposed to be only units with less HP then thor? why is Skeleton giant and tree giant there? if not why Ice giant isn't in the list?

anyway we still need to make thelist for everyone who scales in AP to thor

Thor hammer does 250 to 500 of damage each hit while the explosion that the hammer creates does 240 damage, makes more sense to scale from the Explosion sinse the featt was a explosion that destroyed a small castle and burned a forest

So we now have the same problem as HP, will only troops with equal or above damage scale to thor in AP? well this will bring problens like Giant skelleton that only does 95 to 190 points of damage what even trough is lower is very close to the 240 damage from thor explosion

This was intended to be listing the 8-Bs. There's a couple characters there that do less and I don't really know how to handle them (like the Giant Skeleton you pointed out). That said, I don't really understand everything you're saying here (like the Ice Giant bit, he is on the list, I don't know what you mean).

I didn't see the Ice Giant in the list at first, my bad

Anyway, so the list is for AP and durability?

Baically my confusion is the fact we gonna have to scale their AP and Durability separatedly for each Troop instead of "if It has 8-B AP It also has 8-B dura) or something like that
 
I do think the Skeleton Giant is a point of concern. Are any of the others odd to you, in terms of scaling to Thor?

Most of them have damage near the 200 making them really close to the 240 damage from thor hammer explosion, but similar to the likes of zeus or minotaur not enough to reach the 240 treshold
 
Okay, so you're not questioning them but suggesting them. There seems to be a level of communication error here.

A lot of these guys don't really do close to Thor's damage. Thor does nearly 500 before accounting for physics. The spear throw does less than half of that. We really shouldn't be trying to scale regular units to Thor, especially when they are so very distant from him.

I trough we where scaling them based on thor hammer explosion not the lightning damage

Makes sense, so just to be sure, what is the damage threshold you think should be used? 500? I mean thor hammer explosion only does 240 famage so I was bassing my self on this

I wouldn't count this as 450 damage in one attack, otherwise Hwatchas would also scale a lot from that
I mean the Hwatcha can genuinely one-shot a lot of high-tier units, so that wouldn't be entirely unfair.

As far as the wiki is concerned, we tend to care more about if it's a 'single attack' rather than if it's literally a single motion or object.

Okay let's start with the most straight foward change

This calc was accepted, this is a revision of the original 8-B calc for the verse using the new another material for the castle as suggested by the Calculation Group menber Mr. Bambu

This would upgrade every 8-B character from 57964590000 Joules to 72454590000 Joules this is a pretty straight foward change

Thouse being every one who scales to Thor

Now let's go to the more... let's say controversial change

First of all, we need a bit of context, every character from the verse, called troops or units, have a price to be used in game, currently we decide who will be 8-B and who will not based on the price of the units in comparason to the unit Thor who costs 2200, everyone who costs the same or more scales to 8-B, this is not ideal for a lot of reasons, with characters with high stats when compared to Thor being considered 9-B(like the king), and others with low damage and health being considered 8-B(like sensei), not to mention ignoring things like glass cannnons and wall characters

The solution is simple, with the help of Mr. Bambu we decided who would be 8-B in AP and who would be 8-B in durability based on the values they have in game(thanks to the low amount of non gameplay based lore the game has), all the values are taken from the official T.A.B.S wiki here(ps: while the HP of each troop is in the link It self, for the damage you need to go inside each troop weapon to see the damage)

Let's talk about Durability first, Thor has a health pool of 1690 hp, any unity with the same amount or more will scale to thor durability of 8-B, but there are troops with health values extremely close to thor's and Mr.Bambu helped decide with ones are close enough to downscale from thor

So downscaling to Thor we have:
  • Zeus
  • Minotaur
  • Reaper
  • Chronomancer (both forms)
  • Void Monarch(first form)
Weird cases:

Okay, so how about this, if they scale in HP to thor they are overall 8-B sinse they can fight each other, if they scale only in damage they are a glass cannon
and still has 9-B durability

also zeus probable fits better as a "possible" only for 8-B

If they can only compete via a technicality, then I think Possibly should work fine.

For example, Zeus being far less impressive in terms of raw stats but having about as much total damage depending on the scenario, along with the implication from the achievement.

This is opposed to the fact that if you just spawn both and have them face each other, Thor will stomp Zeus 100% of the time on even terrain.

Every troop with a damage of 500 or more will automatically scale to 8-B in AP, but we also have some weird cases that are close enough to scale to that but not exactly as high

  • Jarl (Does 300 damage, "At least 9-B, possibly 8-B" case)
  • Hwacha(does only 60 damage but shoots 200 projectiles, enough to kill ice giants, same as Artemis)
  • Capitain(flitlock only, does 600 damage if ever bullet hits)
  • Wizard (Does only 260 with It's ranged attack, but does 440 and 300 with meele attacks)
  • Void Monarch and Chronomancer (Void monarch does 270 damage on his first form, so the same case as Chieftain, but Chronomancer does only 150, but Chronomancer and Void Monarch are counterparts so one would scale to the other, Their transformations would be 8-B by then selfs)
  • Infernal Whipe (Does 270 damage, same as Chieftain)
