Simply put due to this calc the verse would now have FTL combat speeds.

Well it's still the Fortress of Solitude which uses tech based lasers, from the only times they're showed they travel straight line and diffuse reasonably, they don't carry any kind of force or special properties and are shown to emit heat.
If anything it also helps that the verse still has solid FTL and FTL+ feats that we already accept we just didn't scale to combat so now this would just mean the FTL travel speed just becomes a general speed thing if accepted.
Jordan the character who performs this feat in earlier episodes and even last seaspn could travel and combat the now rated at MHS+ speed characters at bare minimum when he slower than he was this season and was still coming to grips with his powers.
So with that said really all this does is add another FTL feat to the ones the verse already has and makes FTL speeds a general thing instead of just travel speed.
