It can, but when matter and anti-matter come into contact with eachother, it releases energy. While on paper the feat would be massively impressive, and can be chalked up to each character having their own reasons for surviving it (Supes being Supes, Baby Joey being an alien baby, and Luthorcorp armor being top notch stuff), without any explosion it would just be a resistance.TBF, I'm pretty sure Anti-Matter can be calced, like one gram of Anti-Matter is comparable to a nuclear bomb, and this is a whole river of it.
How?Also I'm biased as hell I'll still scale Gunn's Supes over Snyder's for this stuff
Cause I'm biasedHow?

I got it, just how do you plan to make this Super above Cavill's if you're serious?Cause I'm biased

Offsite agendas and such (antimatter river isn't much from hax otherwise and doesn't even create any instant reaction or booms like it should)Assuming I am serious
Uh, I would definitely use Supes feat of tanking the river at face value, and account for how he was missing 40% of his power when undergoing the dunk. And then if there's any future feat of another hero accomplishing stronger stuff, I would just scale Clark over it due to the story itself labeling him as the strongest.
Though in all honesty, dialing it back for a bit, I could definitely see future films giving him a buff, like a JLA movie showing him sun-dipping.
At best, I could see this being a "possibly" but nothing more really.Thats why the Green Lantern scaling is kinda meh because like unless we get confirmation that specifc bit when the Lantern hits the scarab is still canon then its kinda iffy to assume that's a valid avenue for scaling when its just the overall plot that's canon and the GL bumping the scarab isn't plot essential
basically where I'm at with it too if we do consider it but then the Gunn statement about a non 5-B Supes comes into play and it'd probably be rejectedAt best, I could see this being a "possibly" but nothing more really.
I've always felt like that was a major advantage that DC had over Marvel.Funny thing. Hulk probably won't ever get a solo movie because his character is still partially owned by Universal.
The actor mentioned that Universal doesn't really play well with Disney and so he doesn't think it'll ever happen. They basically just won't even use their distribution rights nor will they sell it to Disney either. So Disney kinda just has to bare with what they can and try doing Hulk's story through other people's movies.
Heard rumors he'll be a big part of the next spider man, for example.
tbf Marvel had an abundance of movies and greater variety of characters pre-MCU like Spidey, X-Men, F4, Daredevil, Blade, Punisher, Hulk, etc, so it made sense that they were handled by different production studios. the most I can think of for pre-DCEU DC movies that weren't Batman or Superman related are Watchmen and Green Lantern.I've always felt like that was a major advantage that DC had over Marvel.
Much less legal drama surrounding character rights compared to Marvel.
Although it's there, like the situation with Milestone, specifically Static, who DC doesn't entirely own, which is why Static and other milestone characters don't show too much in DC media nowadays, and why it's unlikely we'll get him in DCU
You make a good point. DC never used that advantage properly.tbf Marvel had an abundance of movies and greater variety of characters pre-MCU like Spidey, X-Men F4, Daredevil, Blade, Punisher, Hulk, etc, so it made sense that they were handled by different production studios. the most I can think of for pre-DCEU DC movies that weren't Batman or Superman related are Watchmen and Green Lantern.
The Classic versions of the characters from 1938 which are basically way different people anywaysAlso that makes me realize something, but a lot of people aren't mentioning this, but these are the last couple of years of Batman, Wonder Woman, and Superman being trademarked characters.
In about 9 or 10 years DC will lose them to public domain, so I guess Marvel will hold a massive advantage in that area.
I wonder how that will effect these movies if the DCU will go on as long? And really just DC in general really
See? You get it.Offsite agendas and such (antimatter river isn't much from hax otherwise and doesn't even create any instant reaction or booms like it should)
Not really its literally just for the likeness and shit for the very very first shit for him so it won't fall back on any era's after that or any modern stuffYeah I forgot to mention that haha, the originals are vastly different. But will this affect any major plans for DC?
yeah, anything non-Batman/Superman related was relegated to TV animation, which they admittedly did way more consistently than Marvel but unfortunately it doesn't bring anywhere near as much money or fans as box-office releases. and with the DCEU constantly stumbling over itself from the very beginning, it really goes to show how much of a gambit this new movie and universe isYou make a good point. DC never used that advantage properly.
DC was just obsessed with Batman Batman Batman, that no one else had any real shine, other than Superman (and he even got the short end of the stick) DC did have a bunch of projects planned but many of them got canned.
But yeah, Flash, Green Arrow, Teen Titans, Green Lantern (other than the horrible 2011 one) Wonder Woman, Captain Atom, or Captain Marvel or anyone else got nothing. Barely any games, barley any shows (until arrowverse), etc.
I'd actually argue that Marvel is much better in marketing to mainstream audiences.
It's a lot of things. Slobodan Milošević is the main inspiration for Vasil Gurkhos, the President of Boravia. Serbo-Croatian is literally used as the language of Boravia. Lot of his paintings are modelled after PutinI mean it clearly draws inspiration from both.
I think its good that we have a Superman that isn't blowing up planets by opening his eyes. People need to understand that building busting is still very strong, even for a comic book characterKinda a shame tbh.
Even Cavillman had a tier 6 feat in his first movie, although I'm not counting the pocket universe one as that doesn't scale to physicals
what tf does this even meanbattosecond soloing karat labubu…
100% it's because Hulk remembers PeterHeard rumors he'll be a big part of the next spider man, for example
And hangs guys off planes? Good times. Almost sounds like BatfleckYes but he uses guns and slaps children
*Justice GangIf things go as planned and we get a proper DCU and not another DCEU, Supes might actually get more feats, especially with a League movie
That's one of the problems I had with this movie as there were too many characters taking up the screentime of a movie that's specifically meant to be about one person. To be honest, it would've been better if the additional characters like Green Lantern or Hawkgirl was saved up for the next movieIf things go as planned and we get a proper DCU and not another DCEU, Supes might actually get more feats, especially with a League movie
