So i argued somebody on a topic involving Street Fighter and they use EX series as being canon, they told me this in support of their claim
"There is a catch with EX. It has been recognized as canon in the Shadaloo CRI page. Allow me to explain, in the character files, those who aren't canon or are part of different universes are treated as special characters . In exchange, all the SFEX Cast is treated as the standard one, being listed like all the other characters. But the argument about the EX canonicity gets even better when in the own page is stated that Darun was relevant during the SFV events"
Not familiar on EX to give an immediate response, anybody has some knowledge on that one?

How come Cammy doesn't know C. Viper when she fought her in Ties That Bind which is a prequel to SF4?

The vanilla/original street fighter 4 happens before any of the animated movies, super and ultra versions have different stories and endings for characters iirc, so Cammy hasnt met her in the TTB

Actually Cammy not recognizing C. Viper just seems like a continuity error. Whether it's OG SF4 or later versions, the story is still about the tournament organized by Seth, and this tournament takes place after TTB and Juri's OVA (chronologically it is TTB > Juri OVA > SF4).
This is either a continuity error or Cammy's "who are you" to Viper just means she's asking for her identity, not that she's ever met her.

Given SF4 came in 2008 and the TTB in 2009, could be they never thought of their interaction then
