I think Strange Man's abstract existence should be changed from type 3 to type 2.
As the personification of death, the Strange Man appears where death soon follows, as shown when he arrived to meet John Marston near the time of his death, and was around when Arthur was about to die (Special interaction). As long as there will be mortals who will die, the Strange Man, and therefore Death, will not leave.
Furthermore, he is "not of this mortal realm" and he does not have a technical physical body. It is mearly an Avatar he uses when he travels to the mortal realm.
Edit:
His "unknown" before his nigh-omniscient should be removed and straight up be nigh-omniscient. He knows all and he sees all. He knows all choices made by every living individual, he knows their future, he knows their place and time of death. He knows all events that have happened at the start of RDR, and he knows how it will all end.
