Steve VS Genos (0-2-0)

The armor takes 75% less damage (protection) when it already is barely 2 times weaker and has heat resistance. So yes I would assume the armor that already is really really good at staying together in comparison to other armors will do so rather than crumbling to dust upon first hit.
I'm going to stop responding. I've covered all bases in my previous post. Everything you've brought up so far that you think is "new" has already been answered.

Also I am giving barely anything to Steve. I’m assuming he can’t hit the broadside of a barn here. What stops him from teleporting out of the glue with an Ender Pearl?

Steve’s armor can repair, and that’ll be killing Genos with Steve. Assuming he even goes for the grab first when he’s gone for punches and beams dozens of times and if he goes for them he’ll beat his own butt majorly due to damage transfer, damage reduction, and resurrection. (Don’t know why the ad got into my message there haha)

Every single time he's fought an armored opponent he goes for disabling said armor. Which, well would you look at that, I covered in my previous post!

You didn’t say that, you just said he grabbed that one guy. And I’ve read the manga, he can go for that in different ways that would end up hurting himself more due to the damage transfer and damage reduction.

Oh btw Steve is given enchanted golden apples here so its possible he could definitely endure a whole lot of stuff. Enchanted gapples give regeneration 2 which rapidly heals him alongside resistance which reduces damage by 20%.

Search Eye would have him instantly cover that expense.
Misses the point. After the glue is applied, what stops him from teleporting out of it. Though also how could his eye know what it is, one punch man doesn’t have magic.

Genos has enough BIQ to figure out that the Ender Pearl would teleport so 9 times out of 10, he can't do it more than once or Steve is gonna get predicted and slammed with an I Cannon.
Anyways voting Genos, mid diff.

There is actually magic in the setting but it's not elaborated upon much

Fair I meant really with what Genos has interacted with. Was poorly phrased on my end

Stopping the Ender Pearl the second time I get. I just meant the first time. Though again the biggest strategy for Steve pretty much doesn’t revolve movement, since he can’t hit Genos with anything anyways.
I vote Steve leaning to inconclusive. Mainly wanted to play more so devil’s advocate, but really don’t see how Genos deals with the damage transfer, damage reduction, fire resistance, plus resurrection unless he goes for a very specific armor breaking strategy and by the time he choices that one I feel he’ll already be heavily damage from all the damage quickly transferring back to him if he quickly burns through steve’s totems.
Like I get the votes for Genos, but lean towards Steve myself.

Voting incon rn, there are a ton of factors going into this and I genuinely am torn between both arguments.

So basically, Genos can just cheese Steve with boosters and search eye plus the LS difference

Gonna need that Class M calc from idk to get approved 😭

Even if that gets accepted, Steve would still be at a massive disadvantage considering this is Genos’ post-G4 key

Although, now that I’m looking at it, Genos’ adhesive seems to come from his feet, which would imply that he needs to be standing still in order to use it, which might give Steve an opportunity to get the attack on him, but I’m not too knowledgeable on OPM, so idk

Also, OPM supporters, is Genos’ adhesive soluble? Because then, Steve can just use his water bucket to get out

The context is genos treating the adhesive as moisture in order to stop someone from shooting light at him so yea
