Starfire Speed Upgrades

I would like to ask, why is Starfire only rated as MHS+?

IIRC, Starfire in one episode of Team Titans told Robin the secret on how to move Faster Than Light, implying Starfire can do so herself or else she would never know the concept well enough to explain it. In addition to this, Blackfire when she came to visit the earth told Robin and the others that she "ran into a blackhole" on her way to earth and had to go either Light speed or faster to escape it. Finally, in the episode when Starfire had a zit, she was able to easily fly from Earth into Outerspace (way beyond the Earth's range) in a second.

If anyone could answer these It would be appreciated. Thank You.

FTL flight speed seems reasonable to me, not sure if it would also scale to her reactions.

Well, if she can fly between populated planets within a brief period of time, that is a MFTL+ flight speed feat.

Escaping the event horizon of a black hole is considered as at least FTL.

In the very first episode of Teen Titans, Starfire was introduced by telling Robin "And that is the secret to traveling faster than light..."

Well, I am personally fine with giving her MFTL+ flight speed, if she can quickly travel between populated planets.

There was also that scene in the epsiode Troq where there was a bomb in space that threatened to blow up their ship. Granted, he was racist but Val Yor expressed doubt that she could get far enough in time.


Needless to say she did, but the explosion was huge. Might also say something about her durability.

Anyways, idk how far she went but space is big and she covered that distance in under a minute.
