I don't think that Matter, Time and Energy Manipulation are more effective in a fight than spammable insta-death. Plus, Voldy kinda leads with that in an actual fight.

In some ways yeah. Having more versatile amgic can mean a lot agaisnt just specializing in one form and spamming a lot. Star has tons of ways to protect herself from Voldy's avada kedavra. Hell, she can just summon a large army of laser-shooting rottweilers and keep him occupied. Time magic is something to prevent Voldy from even being able to cast a spell. Then there's also the fact that Star can pretty much warp reality so that "she'll always be the winner".
In terms of speed, Voldy's apparate gives him a slight edge (though Star is pretty fast herself in terms of flight). But it won't matter against Star's time and reality bending. I'm not undermining Harry Potter magic here, but its tame compared to Star's toon-force like magic.

Alright, I'll throw in a vote for star. Her matter manipulation could easily give her shields against Avada Kedavra, and a universal time stop is far more hax than anything else in the potter verse
