Spider-Man General Discussion

Just a reminder of the scaling chain for SD/EoT:

Ultimate Spider-Man > Spider-Man 2099 > Anti-Venom (Beast) > Anti-Venom > Amazing Spider-Man

Also to back up the scaling, remember the the bios claim that Doc Ock was said to have killed Amazing Spider-Man, and Doctor Octopus 2099 used Otto’s technology and further enhanced it in SD

Wouldn't they all be equals like it was in NWH?

I can assure you, Peter did not have an advantage. Remember when he tried to encounter Eddie before he even went into his monstrous state? He was literally overpowered even then and then admitted to Miguel that Anti-Venom’s regen always made it difficult for him to deal with. Along with that? Peter was struggling with multiple threats for 2099 at once before that were far more common for Miguel to deal with on a daily basis. And of course, we have Miguel stomping Monstrous Anti-Venom

The scaling is very clear cut. Peter ain’t scaling to Anti-Venom and he never held an advantage
Eh, I'm just recalling from my memory from when I played. Which Is going to take me a good while since I'm too lazy to hook up the old 360 to play it. Curse Activision. But yeah, I just though that Leter was having a bit of an easier time in that portal room. Somehow. It just seemed that way?

No, they wouldn’t. SD doesn’t work like NWH where they’re portrayed as equals. Ultimate is said to be the strongest amongst the four and EoT pretty clearly has Miguel displayed as superior to Amazing Peter Parker

Interviews with the team who worked on the game also said that Noir is from a more grounded and “realistic” universe that’s not as exaggerated as the other three, so that also backs up that he scales to his own feats and isn’t 8-A

Also, I just remembered what I was going to say.

In EoT, Peter mentions the "other hims". Yet, for some reason, he doesn't recognize Miguel, even though they met in SD. So is this version of Miguel from Peter's future, or the same alternate universe Miguel in SD?

Fair enough

Actually, Peter doesn’t forget Miguel. He’s only confused to here him speak with him. The fact that he mentioned the other hims after Miguel contacts him proves that he did not forget

The Shattered Dimensions Crisis is references through statements and pictures multiple times in the game, so that event was not altered by time

This and the bios should be included as references to improve upon these pages

I’ve include bio links on Amazing’s page as well as the write ups for intelligence and abilities for the others on page 8 of this thread, but I’ll be sure to add any behind the scenes + references to improve the pages further. I also wanna write up all of the moves the Spider-Men can use

I’ve already gone pretty deep in getting as much detail for these Spider-Men but it seems there’s more I can tackle

Will there be any luck for the raimi games? Ik it can't be scaled to the movies

And now that I think about it, since it's been a while since NWH was last released and the home releases came out months ago, we should start applying the scans to each of the profiles who got upgraded from that movie?

Cool Cool
I don't think the Spideys should be Superhuman in LS with no justifications tho, is there perhaps a feat that can be calced for it?
Also i'm doing some small changes to my Noir sandbox to line up more with the other Spidey profiles, gonna publish soon

And also, I question Speed of Light combat speed and reactions, cause like could they just be exaggerating?

Its a pretty specific feat given the context, so I doubt its an exaggeration. Electro isn't the poetic type

Here's a few alterations I'd make, nothing huge. For the intelligence section, there's a link missing:

Gifted (Despite waging a one man war on crime, Peter is incredibly effective as a superhero. His stealth has proven to be incredibly difficult for several criminals to deal with as Spider-Man often takes out large areas guarded by armed men all while going unseen and saving hostages at the same time. When ambushed by several gang members at a train track, Spider-Man defeated each one with ease and dodge oncoming trains at the same time. Vulture feared Peter and favoured either fleeing or striking up a deal with him more often than he resorted to facing him in direct combat. Even after gaining the ability to teleport thanks to the fragment's powers, Spider-Man defeated Vulture. Defeated Norman Osborn even after he empowered himself to the point where he could not be defeated regularly, thus ending his criminal empire)

For the "excels at stealth" you can link this

You can also add a 3rd note

Note 3: Noir's physical attributes do not scale to the other three Spider-Men. Word of God has even gone on to define Spider-Man Noir and his universe as less exaggerated compared to the others.

Despite being the weakest of the Spider-Men in this verse, its pretty impressive how this version is still the strongest among Noirs
