Speed boost and General Power increases

So, I have a particular question, what is the concensus for powerboosts increasing speed if nothing is stated?

For example, say Character A is Mach 650 and a Island Buster. Character A then gets an increase in energy and is portrayed vastly faster with emphasis on speed and then Also matches the combined power of 10 island busters.

Based on feats, we Know Character A is 10x stronger after the increase in power due to going from island lvl to matching the combined power of 10 island level characters, but if nothing for speed is stated, can we scale Character A's speed from his 10x boost to Mach 6500, if emphasis on them being faster was portrayed due to the boost?

No I don't believe so, even though he became able to match the power of 10 Island busters that doesn't mean his speed was multiplied by 10 as well.

We would need something to go on like a statement or a calculable feat to do so otherwise we would put "At Least" next to his current speed rating.

What LordGriffin said.

At best, they get an At least in their speed.

It's a bit case by case really. If the character is portrayed as vastly superior to Mach 650 characters, it could be considered baseline MHS+, although it depends. It wouldn't be Mach 6500 tho

Unless it's stated somewhere that when someone's power increases, so does their speed (Ex. Dragon Ball), then it shouldn't be assumed that they increased their speed by the same amount as their destructive capabilities.

Even if you went by pure physics (which you often cannot do because Authors don't math), a x10 increase in Energy, does not equal x10 velocity.

KE = 1/2 * m * v^2

If you increase KE x10 and keep the mass the same. You end up with V being times Sqrt (10) ~ x3.16
