Source of Mid-godly regen

I mean, characters with mid-godly regen can regenerate even after being completely erased from existence, including mind, body, and soul. But, what is their source of Regenerationn? For example Hades: his source is concept of death.

But, what about characters like Lavos? He has mid-godly regen because he is able to came back even after being erased to the Non-existence of the Darkness Beyond Time.

So, what is source of Regenerationn these characters?

It just works. Others have a source like a concept, some regenerate from nothing at all, which is probably Lavos' example.

But really, there is still something binding them to their world, even if it isn't said. That's why destroying their reality kills off a Mid-Godly.

High godly is entire dimensional plane, not just their reality. Some mid godlies are fine with the latter.
