Unfortunately, a person can't use a variable tier in this way. You can't make Super Sonic 3-C, or Mario 4-A again. And yes, I do fully realize it is a variable tier. It still can't happen.

The only Tiers Sonic and Mario have in common are High 4-C, and even if you put them there Mario one shots as his High 4-C key is a lot higher than Sonic's.

This match-up simply doesn't work.

In the case of Sonic vs Rosalina, I'll go with Sonic via better combat skills, Indigo Asteroid, Sealing, and time slow/stop.

Only in Gameplay. Sonic uses Time Break in the story mode of Sonic And The Secrect Rings, and the scenario and opponent are slowed and Sonic can move freely without any kind of negative effect. Sonic being affected by the technique itself is not something that occurs in Story Mode.
