Didn't even know this existed.

Fate's fate manipulation>>>normal fate manipulation, Shiro resists that, but if Sonic bypasses resistance, it doesn't mean much.

However Shiro's plot manipulation is passive, and it bypasses resistance, and is superior to other plot manipulation.

How does it function? Win GG?
Yes, the moment she appears is the Epilogue of the story, and thus no matter what you do, it's meaningless as your story has already come to an end.

Nobody can resist their end, no matter what abilities or means they use.

Sealing Shiro is meaningless, erasing her with the law of causality meaningless, manipulating the plot to change the story itself, meaningless, having an ability that was specifically made to protect yourself from her, meaningless, etc etc.

You get the point, in her verse whatever you do she would just end your story ie if you manipulated the plot of kill her, she would just "end the story of the being who killed her" even if it doesn't make sense.

In addition she is the final story, and thus can't die as long as other stories exist, basically to really permanently kill her you have to end all stories, which includes the story of yourself.

So what exactly are Sonic’s wincons here? Does this just end in an inconclusive since Sonic can’t really do anything.

Because that’s what it looks like right now.

Sonic wins then.

The function of Sonic’s FateHax is “Sonic always wins in the end.”

Shallow Vernal is the end of all stories, her power would just end the story of Sonic who always wins in the end.

This match seems like it's gonna devolve into the mechanics of plot vs fate.

In Sonic’s victory. She might be able to end it, but the end is Sonic’s victory.

Sonic’s FateHax is essentially Plot-induced-stupidity. It’ll make Shallow make the wrong decisions. She’ll end the story but the result of the end would end in Sonic’s favor.

See this is is what i thought was gonna happen lol, we are gonna argue over plot vs fate.

Like seriously i can counter back with Shallow Vernal will just end the story along with Sonic's victory anyway, Sonic's victory will never happen because Sonic can't prevent his own end.

Shiro is the end of all stories, she only appears at the end, and once she does, it doesn't matter what her opponents do, or even if she is killed before using her ability or the past is altered to prevent her abilities, it's meaningless.

The end comes to all things and beings, you can't stop the end, no matter what means or abilities you use.

If Sonic's story is ended, there is no result, Shiro's ability is equated to closing a book, once the book is closed, nothing else happens, and its the reader who decides whether that story can be opened up again. PIS would be meaningless Shiro would still end the story of the being who made her commit PIS.

Her ability is very easy to wank honestly, since it basically makes it a point to say whatever you think you can do to stop it, it's meaningless, other people who have omniscience have tried coming up with ways to counter it, specifically creating abilities that would protect against it, Shiro just ends the story of the being who is protected from her abilities.

Kuro has the ability to generate possibilities, the moment she uses her ability being the prologue, and because it's the prologue the story can change in any direction, it has infinite possibilities, but against Shiro's Epilogue it's meaningless because nothing can stop it, nor resist their end.

So it’s the reader who decides whether the story can be opened up again?

Shallow Vernal is the reader, it isn't some fourth wall breaking stuff.

If the world is described as a book, she is the phenomenon that can close the book, if everyone else are characters in a story, Shallow Vernal is the reader.

Nobody is really interested in this from the looks of it.

I still think Shiro has this though for reasons i listed above, coupled with some more info.

Her power is bringing phenomena to an end, all beings and things have an end, she brings it. This end can basically take whatever form she wants, ie she can end an aspect of a thing or person, such as their souls or memories or even something like an explosion.

Her incomplete version using the ability seemingly is either so fast it just leaves the results, or is some sort of causeless ability, idk which. You don't know when the ability is activated, nor understand it, only thing you can see or know is just the results. Looking at it, Alice is basically this person with a supercomputer brain that can analyze things she finds for the first time, yet has no clue about The Epilogue, despite it being used in front of her, wonder what i should list that as.

The Epilogue is already active in her complete form, bypasses resistances, people who are basically almost all knowing, came up with ways to protect against it, useless, sealing it, useless, running away, useless, regenerating from being erased from existence, useless you still die, being beyond the concept of life and death, useless, manipulating fate, probability and causality to win even if there is a 0% chance to win, useless, manipulating the story to win, useless, evolving into a being who can win, useless etc. The end comes to all things no matter what means you use.

Anyway gonna have to figure out what to do about The Epilogue later in the next CRT. Her incomplete version has it so is it some sort of smurf hax, and should it be listed in her complete form as something separate, though in that case i don't think so, it's stated to be her essence, something that makes up her existence, separating it from her seems contradictory, and her incomplete self hasn't shown anything to indicate it scales as high as when she is complete, so don't really think much changes, besides the other additions like concept manipulation, deconstruction, FTL upgrade to a lot of ppl, and maybe a 2-A upgrade.

so is this a vote?
