(SOLVED)Should a formerly popular verse be disallowed based on that fact that it's not popular anymore (if it solely relied on popularity to be here)?

Why would u think only popular verses are allowed most verses are popular cuz if it is not popular less people will want to do powerscaling on it. There are some verses that are not popular at all but has a lot of value for powerscaling

I never said that. It's just that there may be a special case where "X" verse is only on-site mainly for it's former popularity.

There's other reasons a verse could be here like notability. However, that may be as somewhat subjective as popularity, albeit we have some defined rules for both regarding verses.

I don't see why it would become disallowed. Maybe you should ask staff members who are knowledgeable about this. As far as I'm aware, using series originating from YouTube as an example, if an episode has one million views, the series will forever qualify as being popular enough to be on the VS Battles Wiki.

Just 'cause they aren't popular anymore doesn't mean they aren't allowed here. You've probably seen all of those forgotten Nickelodeon/Cartoon Network series like ChalkZone, Robotboy, and Cow and Chicken here, or maybe even irrelevant web series like Red vs. Blue and Dick Figures here, so I'd say you're fine including these forgotten series here.
