So, they can increase their time stop duration by using it, can it be considered accelerated development?


For jotaro and alt. diego, they have a limit (diego possibly has it due to being human) on it so at best a limited minor.


But dio has stated that his duration could increase forever, reaching minutes and someday a full hour, and after getting high, he increased it and he seriously believed that he had increased it to 10 seconds after a single use.


which i think he did, since he was still talking when 10 seconds passed before he started freezing in time, but idk


So at least dio should get something from it, because unlike jotaro, he has no limit on how much it can improve.

Yes, which is literally accelerated development, his limit increases as he uses it, his ability doesn't have infinite time stop taht he needs to work up to, it has a set limit that gets bigger as he uses it.

either that or limited reactive evolution or something.

Jotaro and alt diego are out of the question, but that is irrelevant, it is arleady covered in the weakness section, but i'm talking about the duration increase aspect.

Literally what happens to dio

Hit's reactive evolution stems from both learning new abilities and improving his time skip duration, the difference is that dio does not need to be tested or resisted to improve his time stop.

Accelerated Development is for those who master skills and abilities significantly faster than other people. Would DIO really qualify for that when the only reason he can improve his Time Stop beyond five seconds is the fact that he is a vampire? We don't have any other Time Stop users who could do the same to compare him to either.

Dio doesn't, the page says that improving abilities works too, which is literally what he does.

Having a limit =/= unable to.

It still would be something regardless, euther limited reactive evolution or whatever.

The power is a time stop, if it gets better it sure should have some extra power to represent it, especially since it is possible for other users to improve it, but the weaker your body is the smaller is the limit.

The power is not just time stop, it's time stop that last a very limited amount of time and the more uses/experience a competent user has with it the longer it lasts with no set limit. When DIO and Jotaro got it they could only use it for some mimited time, then 5 seconds, then Jotaro never uses it for years after using it again other times and then gets old, while DIO gets stronger.

Change "time stop" for "energy beam" and "duration" for "size" and the same happens with no Accelerated Development or anything.
