Shulk V.S Joker.

I'd find it hilarious if Shulk got his upgrade during that time. Shulk is expected to get bumped up to 2-C along with the other Xeno-Gods and possibly 2-A ( it's iffy but possible ).

Shulk won't be taking any hits when trying to approach due to being able to see them coming. You keep forgetting that Shulk's precognition is passive and insanely powerful (Probably one of the strongest on this wiki), which Joker isn't getting around and even then he can use Shield to straight up nullify attacks or Armor to boost everything defensively when trying to appraoch assuming Joker manages to get a lucky hit in. There are a few of Shulk's stat reducing attacks being position specific that being Slit Edge and air slash but he can reduce stats normally as well with equipped gems. While Shulk lacks Range he does have Speed Amplification on his side, to help close the gap. Plus switching Persona's to nullify physical attacks won't protect him against Ether Arts like Eater, Purge and Cyclone, and if he switches to nullify energy attacks then Shulk will use his Physical Arts. Hell it could even be argued that switching to a Null Physical persona wouldn't even work since the Monado itself is not a normal blade composed of material that normal blades are like metal, steel, and Iron not saying that it is just that it can be argued. On a different note can the persona itself cast spells or does Joker litearlly need to call them out to tell them what to use, in other words can they act independently?

Should we just get someone to close the thread? The match up is already concluded with Shulk as the victor. If they don't like the result they should take it to the request thread. Besides with P5 The Royal and Xenoblade Defenitive Edition both coming and Shulk's revisions going on now. I'm sure there will be a rematch.
